I wasn’t going to buy any more cars, but decided to get the CLK. After looking at my collection(300/430), I had a look at my avatars. Found I’m missing the F40, F1 and FXX K. Might as well set a new goal to get those remaining cars.

From the 25th AE, you will just get those 30 avatars to choose for your PS profile pic. Nothing to do with cars you buy in game. I’m choosing to buy those specific cars.

I have 8 million now... deciding if I should buy clk or save up and get the berlinetta... looks wise I don't even like the berlinetta but just trying to get the overpriced cars out the way really lol

its a mindset thing.
Think about what benefit you really get in your life from having that car in your playstation game garage.
If its worth it, then its worth it.
If its not, then don't bother. Wait until you've got credits to burn in a year's time, like with GTS where one sat at 20M the whole time after the first year of playing

Buy the clk, and you can use it to farm sardegna 800pp, spa 1h and le mans 700pp and then you can buy the berlinetta. Its kinda useless, but who cares lol. I got it and now its farming time to get those 20M back. I hope they dont throw another one like this in the next days (witch they probably will).

Yeah, that's me.

There will come a stage where credits will have no value and thats when I'l swoop to sweep up the rest of these overpriced museum pieces that I really can't see me using.

Bought the CLK to, great acceleration, and a beautiful sound, now trying to find a decent setup for sardegna for example, I'm still having a hard time getting the car to turn at higher speeds, so I still have some work to do 😄

What sort of lap times are you getting at Sardegna in the CLK?

I don't normally go for those vintage cars but that's a stunning looking vehicle... I have my funds allocated for June and July but that will be on the list for the next rotation...

I haven’t been grinding since the tomahawk got patched… been doing the afk thing really lol… cant really take advantage of it since im at work during the week and when I get home I have 3-4 hours to do it… its easy to do but I have to watch it like a baby because every now and then it disconnects… that’s why when I leave it on overnight when I sleep it works for like an hour at most smh…I get a little over 6 million during the week and the weekends if I stay home I get like 17 million…it would help a ton if I got to work from home…it would also help a lot really if the afk worked when I was asleep or not at home that way I can just leave it on… but like I said it always disconnects like once an hour…

On another note, it has been easier instead of the traditional grinding… but in a way it still feels the same… I’m not playing the game but the fact that I have to watch it all the time annoys me… maybe I’m not doing something right but too lazy to figure out a way to fix it…

It was, I bought it yesterday. Car was more enjoyable to drive in GT Sport however imo.

I was on the fence about buying the black 300 SL because I’m waiting for it to arrive in silver, but the dreaded up arrow next to the price tag finally convinced me to buy it. Glad I did as it looks awesome in black after installing a sleek set of aftermarket wheels and increasing track width.

Still far from what I want, but has alot less understeer, I came across Semy-98 on YouTube and setup feels better than what i had lol, so credits to him, from here on I'll try to make it faster 😁

Can you share tunings for the CLK? My lowest is only 1:39, which I'm sure in part is due to my mediocre driving skills. LOL!

To turbo or not to turbo that is the question. Should add acceleration but also weight due to ballast which means more tire wear and fuel burn. Anyone have thoughts?

Yeah, I’m in that ballpark on FM3/4.

It’s still a great car, powers out of the bends nicely, but a little bit more rotation would be nice.

Thing is, I say this based on the fact I’ve added ballast and reduced power in order to get in under 800PP. So perhaps it’s a bit less stagnant in purely stock form 🤔
