Oooh, I had been wanting to buy another of these. But 9,000,000? Sweet Lord. I don't remember it costing this much when I bought my first, LOL.
Is it even good? The last and only time I spent that much money on 1 car was on the F1 GTR and overall I feel I wasted my money.

I much prefer the old 904 vs the GT1 Strassenversion. That 904 is so much fun to drive. The GT1 is bleh by comparison.

That car really have very good comments, i was thinking of buying a second one instead of the 911 witch worth 3.5 times more and have an insane price considering his first appearance.

At all the previous gt's ( don't know about Sport) where the name Porsche wasn't anywhere, now we are full of them in all categories.
Not that is a bad thing, definitely they are among the legends of Motorsport and have a lot of fans around the world, but .....but 9 millions from 3 ?
That's insane ,on the other hand the daily workout tickets, never stop giving you the lowest prize almost every time .
It's the only thing that didn't change from day one i guess.

I don't have the 20M credit F1, but I do have the other 2. Both are a disappointment relative to their rivals (other Gr.2 and Gr.3 cars).
With a good tune they can both hand out a lesson in lap times to their opponents

Only problem with the GT1 is not being able to lighten it. That would work wonders for its performance to match its racing version rivals.

Has the price gone up on the Ford Mark IV? I wouldn't mind getting a 2nd one
Not since the 1.20 update, though there's another price-adjustment update due near the end of this month.

Thanks. I will definitely try to get one before it leaves I think I'm around 4 mil right now so I'm thinking if I get to 10 and can buy it and still have a little left over. I wish I could have @Chikane_GTR grind for me for just one day 😁

I have a theory that the only reason we can't lighten it is because PD plan on adding the proper Evo variant eventually, it may not make much sense but it's not impossible for PD to add it.
@smoothbore12 Ah, that explains why I don't remember it costing so much. I've had it for a long time so 3,000,000 wouldn't stand out in my mind.

Have to be honest, the stock GT1 is one of my favorite cars in the game to drive. It is a wonderful wonderful car to drive. Far superior experience to the McLaren F1. Maybe the McLaren can be better if tweaked, but stock vs stock it's no comparison. @rlx disagree with those sentiments. Then again, on the whole I'm not a 918 fan. It sounds amazing but it's a chubby AWD mess of a hybrid. I love my Carrera GT but it's more difficult to drive, and certainly not faster, than a GT1.
I agree the Carrera GT almost seems nerfed in comparison to the Enzo which afaik was a direct rival to it as the gap between both cars is quite large with stock setups, not sure how they compared IRL but I always thought they were very closely matched. The 911 GT1 is not quite Hypercar performance but definitely one of the best Supercars.

The 2 first appearances cost 3 millions, the third 3.100 and the last four including this one ........ 9 millions 🤬😡🤬

Anyway, did worth as a car or it's something like Veneno for example ?
I see many people griding for the McLarens witch are also high priced cars but at least they use them and enjoy them.
I never read something like that for this Porsche as i remember.
Every comment will be welcome .
I use it at the LM 700pp race all the time. It used to be on the slow side but after the last physics/PP update it’s much more competitive than it was before. It’s also great at the 650pp Porsche cup races and can probably pull off a win stock or with just a few bolt-on upgrades. I liked the car before GT7 from Project Gotham Racing 2 on the original Xbox, so that definitely helped me decide to get 3 of them.

Shame the 993 GT1 gets offen overshadowed by the 996 and 98 car i kinda wish it could be feature in more racing games.

Ok , i made a sin 👀 yesterday .
I bought the Stradivarius Porsche and went from 99 to 90 millions.
Put tyres ,suspension ( no brakes at all ) lcd and other parts and took it at lemans .
Very good car ( at least for this track ) and was on stock settings.
The only ( very ) annoying thing was that isn't able to put more than two laps even at FM6 !!!
Its very frustrating especially for that race not be able to have a clear lap .
This is an issue that I can't overcome except if am doing something very wrong.
Short shifting etc. are out of my league since am using AT and at the other hand i want to race it not to make fuel economy, its just a simple race not a marathon or 1 hour race.
Very " smooth" car but fuel consumption kill it for that race .

Did you do the permanent engine upgrades that raise the redline? I didn’t do any of those but I might be short shifting now that I think about it. I’ll give it a go here and see what I’m doing different.

No didn't touch the engine upgrades , engine was dead stock ,i add only peripherals like suspension, ecu controller, gears etc but didn't touch the engine.
Just need 3.1 laps but when I refuel at FM6 the inticator show me less than 3 laps .
How many laps you do with that ?

Sounds like 911 GT1 is not a must have. If that fuel mileage is true that’s rough. I’ve been wanting one but $9m seems like a lot for what’s been described in this thread.

I checked and I am short shifting around 7300 RPM when I rev all the way I didn’t get 3 laps. I have the same upgrades as this tune except I left the transmission stock for a little extra power and I have the ECU at 87 which gives me 527 HP at 698.87PP.

I'm so glad I only paid $3m for mine when it popped into the dealer for the first time ever. If I'd have known they would jump in price eventually, I'd have bought three! :D

Indeed a pain in the a*s fuel wise, but man, is sounds awesom and drives like a charm even on the limit, I let it loose sometimes at Catalunya, and it does a great job there, bought it fairly in the beginning, but would buy it again in a hartbeat

Unfortunately is a fuel beast , so beast as beautiful he run.
This matter of excessive fuel consumption is something that really " kill " the usability of lot cars.
Even the Escudo at FM 6 and 1155 hp can ride at Lemans 3.5 laps .

You are absolutely right.

Of absolutely, I've used it for many Porsche events, bone stock. Just pick your tires and go dominate!

Dying here waiting for the McLaren F1 GTR in my garage!

Only been playing GT7 for 3 months.
