No they wouldn't. Nobody cared how out of joint the prices were in old games, nobody cared that the McLaren was only 1M. The only complaints were how out of reach the 20M cars were.

It's just further evidence that pricing your cars realistically to real world prices is never going to work in a video game. They should have just left them alone, instead of trying to justify why some are real and some aren't.
But then how would they get that sweet advetising money from Hagerty, lol.

Agreed. Just keep the prices where they've always been instead of being hyper-focused on a really unimportant aspect of "realism". I'd like RWD cars to not have the rear end kick out like every single one of them is setup as a drift car, that's where I want realism. I think we're all sick of shortages and inflation in real life, no need to bring the misery into a video game

@MikeUD06 That was a) early in the game's life. The LCD didn't start on launch day, it was already running before launch so with certain cars like the Alfa (I believe that was the first car to cycle out) it was gone before the 5 day average we'd see over the following month. Given it was arguably the most useful car to cycle through to this point since it was a Gr. 4 car (one of the few race classes we have content for) a LOT of people wanted it. b) most are referring to the awful economy/speed at which credits were obtained, not how quickly the cars cycle out. The only complaint against the speed of LCD was how long it takes for it to roll back around if you miss a car.

Ahem. The issue is not inflated car prices. Quite a few have gone down as well. The problem is, or perhaps more accurately was, the poor in-game economy, which was the real cause of excessive grinds.

I said the prices should have stayed where they were. We had PLENTY of 15mil+ credit cars prior to this game, so that would include the XJ13, GT40 MKVI, & Alfa Giulia being 9mil, 15mil, and 7mil (or more can't remember if Giulia was 10mil or 15mil) MORE than they are, respectively. But yeah, I agree, just don't know why you're arguing semantics. Just to argue?

Ferrari 250 GTO '62 (right-hand drive), 1157km driven – 20 million credits
Shelby Cobra 427 '66, 1798km driven – 2.5 million credits

Chaparral, Alfa Romeo 8C, Peugeot 205 Turbo are limited stock.
After a quick search I didn't find the answer.
Do you guys think there are both LHD and RHD version for specific cars like this one ?

We all know that it's an European car and I think that there were more LDH than RHD...

Hahaha. I usually don't respond to this kind of mirroring techniques, but this is just hilarious.

In the game, I would say what we see is what we get. In real life, there are 8 documented RHD GTOs, tmk.

Any way to tell how long cars will be in stock? Still need to pickup the McLaren F1 later today
When it becomes limited stock you have 2 days I believe.

I not usually into the legend cars outside of race cars but both the Shelby and GTO are must haves..better get the oil changed in the "Dodge" time to head to Sardegna.

Surely this is better as long as you're not afk grinding.
Eh, people were complaining that if you were starting from scratch it was frustrating trying to grind to buy the cars in time before they rotated. Now we have more cars and more time to buy them, it's a win-win for everyone but the small portion of players who were okay spending hours each day just grinding and nothing else.
Let's say I'm an average GT player. Maybe I get 1-2hrs a day to play the game if I'm lucky. Just bought the F1 GTR I've been savings my money for and I'm back to chump change, starting from scratch. Now I have 3 or 4 days left to get the 300 SL or maybe the Cobra or the DB3S. No matter what, I have to grind to get any of them, and since I have "integrity" and refuse to cheese with the Tomahawk, I'll end up missing something I want and wait til next time they roll around. No problem, except the extra 1 or 2 or 3 days that "SOLD OUT" cars are in stock taking up space, that cycle for other cars to get back is longer and longer.
The people who constantly grind are the least affected by this cause they'll get their cars as soon as they hit the dealer and start working on the next one. Especially now that they have the 100M cap.

Waiting weeks or even months for cars in the UCD and LCD to appear is absolute bollocks. I would rather have these cars change almost every day, even if you miss out, you can still wait 1 week or less for it to appear again.

As it is, it's just ridiculous.

A swift reminder that the game has been launched on March 4th and 1 month and a half later we are yet to see some cars in the game. Let that sink in.

I missed out on the F50 before I knew of the AFK grind... And this was how many weeks ago? Almost since launch.

The LCD however appears to rotate every car, and not repeat cars that appeared before others, unlike the UCD which even has brand central cars in it to occupy the slots of the rarer pre 2001 cars.

I missed out on the Alfa 155 because I didn't have the funds at the time, but I have now and still can't get it... and don't get me started about engine swaps (because I still have none and I own duplicates of the cars ready to go and enough credits to buy the engines).

It's frustrating not fun.

I would much rather have the cars only be in the LCD for 24-48hr but have the entire dealership only take 7-14 days to entirely cycle through back to the start. A two month-ish wait is way too long; I'm usually totally burnt-out on a game within 2mo so I've made sure I've grabbed everything I thought I'd even have a passing interest in during this first trip through the LCD. Just wish the afk Pan-Am or current Tokyo grind were around when the XJ13 and Porsche 917k were available as those are the only cars I've missed that I actually want
and don't get me started about engine swaps (because I still have none and I own duplicates of the cars ready to go and enough credits to buy the engines).
I've got the Rx-7 engine that can be swapped into the Eunos Roadster. Heard way too many tales of people doing the swap and then having it revert back to the normal engine after a few races so I'm afraid to even use the one engine I have, lol. So you're not missing out on much. Though it's ridiculous to have such a sought-after feature locked behind a double-rng rigged system. REALLY want to try the 787B-RX-7 swap but who knows, it might be years before the game decides I can have it. But then again even if I were to get it tomorrow I'd be too afraid of losing it to actually use it...

It just needs to go back to being determined by OUR actions in game, not on a live rotation from the servers. Doubt that'll happen though, they want control over most aspects of this game so they can pull data.

FOMO got me. I bought the trucking 9.5M BMW Maclaren.
Need cash to prep for the 330 P4 drop

the good news: you’ve just made the Sardegna 15-lapper extremely easy. I’ve probably tried a dozen cars and the GTR makes for my fastest one-stop.

update: the GR1 LM nissan is nearly as fast and can do a no-stop

Charles Leclerc Edition

Since this Ferrari was originally white, I decided to repaint it. I opted for a more vibrant red - Rosso Scuderia.

It was, yes, lol. People were keeping it under their hat until a day or two before the 917 left though. Don't think the discord was up until the day before the F1 cycled out, which I was able to get before it left so it worth it to get that car (and every other LCD car since sans the Alfa 8c) out of the way.
I take it, the Red Pig will drop tomorrow. I needs it to complete my ultimate top 10. There, I said/typed it. :sly:
What IS the Red Pig? Heard this term thrown around for a couple weeks and still haven't figured out what it's referring to. 330P?
