Seems like the cars sell out even slower than they did before the dealers were expanded, still waiting on the 787 to show up.

Yeah. They gave us more cars but seem to have doubled the length of stages at which they progress from new to gone. Not cool.
Complaint Pre-1.11: These cars sell out too fast, they don't give us enough time to earn the credits!
Complaint Post-1.11: Cars don't sell out fast enough anymore!

So the real world pricing is just bull****? I'm shocked.

Just another excuse Kaz implemented to make the game "more realistic" lol.
Real world price for the Ferrari 250 GTO $70M: https://www.topgear.com/car-news/classic/new-world-record-ferrari-250-gto-sells-ps52m
ANd this was back in 2018, god knows what it's fetching now!

Complaint Pre-1.11: These 20 million credit cars are too expensive! How do they expect us to earn that much?
Complaint Post-1.11: These non-realistic prices are bull; I wanted to pay 70 million credits for the 250 GTO!

This community makes absolutely zero sense.

How am I making a complaint? lol
Just stating facts.

I wonder if that Cobra would clean up in the Mission one hour pre-1979 endurance event? What is the PP on it?
If you can control it (I remember it being a beast in previous GT's) and knock 108.18 PP off its 558.18 PP, it probably would clean up.

If the GTO stays until Friday at least, I might be able to buy it.

Also remember that, like the Hagerty guy says, each GTO is a little different from each other. The most expensive one isn't necessarily the one in the game.

A question for the car nerds/enthusiasts – the Ferrari 250 GTO currently available in the Legendary Car Dealership is actually a unique, specific car. They list the previous owners and the car's history. How come the distance driven is listed as less than 1200km? Is this accurate? If yes, are these cars treated like rare collectors' items from the very beginning? I would've expected such a nice looking, old Ferrari to have tens of thousands of kilometers on the odometer.
(I know very little about cars and car culture, so I'm genuinely curious.)

For rare collectible cars like the 250 GTO, a lower mileage, the condition of the interior/paint/mechanicals, the higher asking price.
Low miles for collectible cars aren't unheard of, but super rare.
I've seen examples of rare cars where the owner bought and drove the car from the dealership straight to his garage and that's where it sat for more than 40 years.

Been like this since GT5 days. A pity really, guess I'll continue enjoying the game

Anyone bought the 250 GTO? On the fence about grabbing it without knowing how it handles, if there's any customization, etc.

I literally never saw a single complaint about the LCD cycling too fast pre 1.11. In fact the exact opposite complaint was so prevalent PD changed the LCD due to the bitching about it taking forever to cycle through the cars. So it is fitting that people are complaining that the dealership cycles slower now (seemingly) as that was the position of most of the community all along

I watched a gameplay of someone driving it and it sounds great but handling wise, I have to test it out myself. I'm still on the fence though.

I think PP is around 500, but not sure, because i'm in work now.. Tonigh i will check, but for sure Cobra can take part in the competition.

Yah, Cobra is very fast, but for control-VERY HARD WORK!

Nobody is complaining that the price of the GTO isn't real, nobody wanted to pay 50-70M credits for one, they're pointing out how it weakens Kaz's supposed rationale for the pricing of the other cars. Clearly PD don't mind lowering the prices below reality if reality is too much, so they could have done the same with others like the 18M Mclaren. But they didn't. It's inconsistent.

The prices are now simply not realistic. A 250GTO isn't only 2M more than a Mclaren F1 in real life. So that's the whole thing out of the window, and in reality, they just made certain cars more realistic, others not.
