This pre-war Alfa Romeo 8C, or something similar to it (the Spider, I think?), sold for $19.8 million at an auction.
A Berlinetta (chassis 412024) from 1939 sold for $19 million in 2019.

What I find pretty interesting is that the exact same car in the game (chassis 412035) which won the first Watkins Glen Grand Prix in 1948 was featured for sale in some news paper classifieds in the 1960s for $4,000 (roughly $38,000 today).

Talk about an investment.

Either PD forgot to update the dealerships or because they've doubled the offerings, it'll take longer for them to change stock. Also, the Ferrari is already limited stock 😐.

Edit: Just checked Brand Central and the Ferrari invite I won less than a week ago is showing as expired. Anyone else have this issue?

In some ways, I'm kind of glad the CLK-LM is still in the Legends dealer. Trying to do Circuit Experiences with a headache tonight is not fun and hopefully I'll have time to do so tomorrow...

To me it's worth it, looks really good but it is also one of my favorite cars of all time. And the all round performance is great, especially cornering, it has amazing amounts of downforce. The only downside to it is that the sound is not good, it sounds fake. There are some videos on youtube you can listen.

This one is the cleanest onboard I could find.

I received invites from Ferrari and Porsche two days ago and they have just completely vanished since the update!

So is the CLK-LM worth it? It's the lasy day with the recent influx of credits I'm thinking of getting it but don't want it to be waste.
Yes it's very much worth it in my opinion though I may be biased due to the CLK-GTR being my favorite car ever made. I have only used it in Gr.3 races but it absolutely makes all those events a breeze.

Also the wheels on the CLK-LM may actually be correct as this image is from the official Mercedes-Benz website:

Wonder why they changed the wheels to CLK-GTR ones but they don't look too bad on it.

This one is from Goodwood 2010, but I have seen newer pictures of the car with the usual wheels so they may have just been interchanging them for some reason.

Can only echo many of the sentiments here. The CLK LM is incredible, both in performance and looks. Feels so good to drive and add to that in these wonderful graphics we have now as well.

CLK LM takes too much fuel. It needs 2 pit-stops during 15lap race. Is it not a problem? I will try to win with 2 pit-stops today (race medium tires)

My thought is that some day in Legendary cars PD to make some discounts. I haven't got that Ferrari 250GTO in previous 2 GT games (GT6 and Sport)

Hello, will the CLK LM still be available to buy in like 6 hours, when i am home from work ?
Yes it will be available until midnight.

The F1 GTR is very good on Fuel, in the 15 laps race I only had to pit once on Lap 10 or 11 with the Fuel setting set to 4, I will try ti again on 1 to see how many laps it does.

Good find!

The engine sounds very alike here, but didn’t rev as high as in the game or they just switched gear earlier IRL?

One more question:
Why did PD combine the FIA GT livery with the cross plane le mans engine?

God bless the YouTubers. I listen to pretty much every car online before I buy it!

So I bought the 2J '70. Finally won the WTC 800 at Daytona.....had to buy the power restrictor and drop it all the way, AND add about 175Kg ballast, AND put fuel to 6 for most of the race to get only 1 stop - but finally beat the Viper! Can't wait to get a race where it can fly unleashed!

Scratch that - lost track of which thread I was in.

From the list @wasenhorn put together, the only car close to the mileage out of the expanded Hagerty's offerings was the State of Play-only Porsche 917K, at (a converted from kilometers) 437 miles.

odd isn't it, it's not like they don't have permission to use the D2 logo as it's on the front of the car anyway. I imagine the car was scanned separately from when the sounds were done, the in game car seems a good match for the one that ran at the Goodwood Festival of Speed a few years ago (with a flat crank engine) so maybe it was done there and the sound was then produced from some of the Le Mans videos that are out there.

Watched a video both of the Merc and the McLaren and I think the coin flipped in favour of the McLaren. It just sounds like an absolute beast whereas the Merc sounds a bit artificial and too high-pitched.

To those who have both, which drives better, the CLK or Mclaren?

Heard good things about the CLK on another thread but realistically can't get both at the same time.

Edit: or a simpler question are they both worth the money?
So, I’ll use an animal analogy:

The Merc is like a panther hunting its prey. Smooth, elegant, each movement almost scientifically precise and very powerful.

The McLaren is like an excited greyhound, darting left, right and pretty much everywhere and yet somehow doing so with control and at great speed.

The Merc is much easier to drive at the limit, the McLaren is - in my opinion - a bigger adrenaline rush. They’re both worth every single credit in my opinion.

In terms of what is quicker, I’d say the Merc possibly edges it but I feel like I’ve not fully unlocked the McLaren’s potential just yet.

I have both and it's definitely the CLK you'd get if you want the best. That's coming from a confirmed F1 fan.
