Alfa?

Where Is It Kyle Mooney GIF by Saturday Night Live

I only need that and the 250 GTO, then I've finally driven all the cars and can uninstall this stupid game.

I'm sure the 30s Alfa is overdue now... One of the few remaining cars that I need.
Some cars have gone 95 days before so not overdue until Monday.

I think the car has been pending though since Monday. It's just waiting for an available slot to appear into (probably a 10 day window). That could be the slot occupied by the Porsche that is now sold out - so tomorrow maybe.

I'll be ready ! (Bought the old Aston this morning)

*The Escudo has had an erratic cycle, so this is based on 12 weeks since its last appearance.

This should keep you going till the end of Feb...

Does anyone know how long the Mclaren F1 will likely remain in the LCD? Decided to commit to grinding for it but have limited time haha.

Take a Beat and do a custom race on Daytona tri-oval VS nerfed Tomahawks, it will bring you millions while you are doing more interesting things, and when you want to play you can focus on fun not on credits.

I hardly win more than 500k per hour if I avoid grinding (manually or AFK), and I barely play 7h per week, so no thanks, my patience does not extends on many years.

I agree that the economy needs work, but still there’s simply no reason to grind, or cheat. You just need to be patient.
Why? And I mean that sincerely. Buying and driving cars is what the game is.

Now if cars were behind some sort of skill gap or license that required some sort of game mastery I could understand.

But the limiting factor is time and the ability to earn credits in suitable numbers.

Ignoring the roulette tickets and endurance missions which are one and done and based purely on using the top paying races. To purchase 2 of the 20 million credit cars (40m) you would have to do Sardegna 27 times at circa 28 minutes a time roughly.

That is a serious time sink for just 2 top end cars.

Why on earth would you want to do just Sardegna 27 times when there are hundreds of other things you can do and hundreds of different cars to do them with?

Because it's the fastest not funnest though, way to get credits.

When you add in the scarcity factor of some cars being arbitrarily time limited or locked behind invite only mechanics, if you want one of those cars within a reasonable time frame, say like to drive the F1 over the Xmas period when you have some time off etc then doing one lap of Nurbs in for 15k ain't gonna get you that F1 any time soon.

The balance is some what skewed towards those that aren't as time poor as some people.

Its not just the economy it's the philosophy behind it that required people game the game.

There are a few people on this forum who seem to enjoy crunching numbers. I see there’s a thread about the total credit cost of every car in the game, etc.

I’d like to see similar about adding up the total value of every event in the game, including the championships. I’m not bothered enough to add it all up myself. But in my opinion, what’s required to get all the cars is to just play through the entire SP campaign several times over, with a few time trails and circuit experiences etc thrown in here and there, along with roulettes and the new weekly challenges. You’ve just got to manage your money carefully and keep an eye on rotations - if you can’t get something this time you can plan for when it comes round next time. All that.

That’s how I’m playing anyway and i’ve never felt the need to run the same track over and over. There have been 3 very high value cars in the LCD this week, I’ve accepted that I won’t be able to get all of them. But the Ferrari is on a faster rotation than the others, and I already have a Porsche racecar so I’ll get just the F1 this time and wait for the others to come up next time, or the time after. In the meantime I should be able to afford some of the cheaper cars and whatever (if any) I get invites for.

Sorry but for the way I like playing GT7 and owning as many of my favorite cars as I can buy your way of play gt7 wouldn't work for me.

It’s pretty normal for a modern game to require a lot of time and dedication to fully complete.
Platinum trophy here, 100% CE gold and over 4000 online races let alone the SP stuff and I still haven't made enough money to buy all of the cars. I don't grind although occasionally do Sardegna for fun.

I'm not sure I'm with you it being fun to do that 10 times over.

I don't "buy" into this way of artificially fleshing a game and its longevity. And if I find a way to enjoy it more, I use it.

I play to have fun, not to feel like working.

And I don't care about fully completing it. Maybe I'll get the platinum trophy one day (which I don't consider equal to completing the game), but as it requires 100% gold on normal licenses... it has a very few chance of happening to me. And I won't talk about missions where not only I am unable to gold them, but I can't even bronze some. On SP I am at 81% completion, I know I won't 100% here neither, thanks to those wonderfull rallycross events. CE all bronze, and I'd like to gold all, but I doubt I'd achieve that either, and it will need countless hours with very low credits.

Car collection on the other hand, is nearly complete thanks to AFK grinding, credits are a non issue now, I focus on having fun with the few hours I spend in game.
