Not sure the NA Supra will be competitive over the long haul, no turbo/sc options, all motor

Now i know what you guys were talking about at GVE reverse last night. If there are any spots open i found these 3 cars to start with.

Toyota Altezza AS200 '98 cr. 15257

Nissan 180 sx Type X '96 cr. 20148

Mazda RX-7 Type R-S (FD) 95 cr. 20687

(Plz pick the 180, Plz pick the 180) ** Im crossing my fingers. You can use whatever, but it will be a challenge in the Type X. I use that exact 180 for another series and the PP ceiling is very low by comparison to the FD

Room will be open shortly. iForce and Polizei, please email me the specs for your cars to chris(at)huyler.net I am creating a spreadsheet to track everything that I will publish after tonight's warm-up.

Good race. Sorry about the drifting after lap 15ish, thats when I handed it over to my brother because I had a wedding to attend.

good racing, couldn't pull the RX7 together on such a short track. Hope i am more competitive on GVE

You should've pulled into the pits and left the race. Your brother was causing some accidents.

I told him to drive carefully and to move over if someone was coming up behind. Apparently, those instructions were too complex. :ouch:

Looking forward to the rest of this series. Fun to meet all of you guys tonight. I think the only person that I have raced before is WiiFreak. I think he ended up with a slow starting car, because he is usually extremely fast. I think we all need to watch out for him down the stretch if he gets some money for that Silvia in the early races.
I was impressed how aware everyone was on the track. That is a tough track to run as many cars as we did, and it seemed to be mostly incident free. Thank you to everyone who gave me room during the race.

For any that want to check, my car is for share. I don't think that many of us are friends, but I am friends with Chuyler. Hopefully he can check it if you guys have any questions about it.

This is really unacceptable. There were numerous complaints about drifting and lack of awareness of the cars around him. If you aren't going to attend the entire race for this series I suggest you back out. I know the consensus in the room was to ban you completely, but that was before we knew you handed the wheel over to someone else.

I too am impressed at how clean the racing was. I wasn't held up for more than half a lap by cars I was lapping. I tried to stay clear when they were battling and wait for the straight to go around.

I took your car for a quick spin. Much better turn in than my Evo. I had to drift corners to keep up. Your car will be a real contender during the series.

Tesla,

So you know.. On lap 58 of 60, I was in the lead and behind the out of control drifting yellow Z. After it almost crashed on 3 straight turns, with the leader behind it.. It finally spun so bad that it made a big mess in the middle of the track. I had no where to go. I luckily came to almost a complete stop(like 5mph), and was able to avoid the car last second.

That would have really sucked, to have been wrecked with 2 laps to go. This was my experience, and I heard many other people on the track having troubles with this car too.

Well I can only get to the first race, because of school. So I guess I'll leave you guys to it.

Am I still able to participate in the races given I got disconnected?

I came back and watched you guys race. RedReevos you were impressive.

Thanks Fatrab. Much appreciated. I think I had a big torque advantage on this track.

The fun in this series will be to see which cars become stronger during the season, and which ones will be weaker.

Fatrab, I can't imagine you would be kicked from the series just because of one disconnect. The PD servers have been quite punishing lately. A lot of people in some of my other series have been having issues lately as well. These are guys that I have never seen have issues before.

Before next race(if you haven't already), try to clear your cache. It is in the game under settings/options. From there it is under network.

Okay will do.

I think the one thing I noticed was that you seemed to come out of the first turn much smoother than most others. I'm interested just to see how things develop and hopefully I can improve a bit too!

That was a fun race last night! I'm looking forward to the next one, although I have a feeling there will be a bit more carnage on GVE-R with the higher speeds on turns 1 and 2...

Hopefully I'll find my headset for next week .

Yes. I was wondering what happened to you. I'm not sure how we will score your run if you get disconnected in another race though. We can debate whether to give you the position you had when the disconnect occured or subtract 1-2 positions or something along those lines.

Both gShark and I could catch you when the track straightened out. I think you were just running a consistently clean line. We were able to keep up until lap traffic got heavy.

Autumn Ring was really to expose any bad driving and lag. it also promoted lots of lap traffic so drivers could learn to yield to the lead cars. I think everyone was pretty good in this regard. Xonant was a little aggressive when i was trying to get around him. I had to run along side him for half a lap before he gave up the driving line. it made me nervous because his RX-8 was very loose. I understand not wanting to sacrifice your own lap time, but please don't battle with the lead cars, once they get in front of you, let them go uncontested. The next race it might be you in the lead.

I'm willing to bet people will get more damage entering the tunnel and stacking up before the turn exiting the hairpin. However, if people run 2-wide into turn 1, things may get messy. You'll be praying that the sand trap stops you before you hit the retaining wall.

Two things. First, you are right in correctly identifying the tunnel entrance as the oh 🤬 part of the track. Second, getting through sand on the comfort soft tires is VERY difficult and reversing in it is strictly out of the question. I beached my R32 last night on the second corner and the quickest way I found out of the sand was to let my car slide down onto the track, which happened even with the brake on. As soon as I tried the gas, my car just went sideways, which I dare say is impossible in RL.

Ok, I have published the specs on everyone's cars.

https://spreadsheets0.google.com/pu...5udDdNaUxqUjB5dEVWeUJ3Tl81UzNTd1E&output=html

I have 17 drivers listed who submitted cars...but I thought we only had 14 at best in the room. I'll have to check to see who was missing. Those who did not make it in last night cannot be part of the series.

This spreadsheet will be updated after each race with new information. For book keeping purposes, I will need your settings at least 24 hours before the start of the race. You have the entire week to test things out and pick the right mods so please don't leave your selections to the last minute. Please include your forum name and PSN id in the email. It's tough tracking who is who.

Diabolic, I need the specs on the car you selected. I don't remember which one you chose or the parts you installed.

GrenadeShark, I need the mods you installed on your car.

RockinVs, I need your final car selection. (Rockin just found out about it last night and didn't have much time to car shop)

Redreevos, you have 3,171cr to spend on your car. You may have won Autumn Ring but I suspect you may need a little more power to hold off the EVOs at GVE-R. Please send me your mod selection.

Andrew, you emailed me your car but I have no idea who you are.

mike46an2, you have 2,274 left to spend on your car. Please send me the list of mods you install. Were you in the room last night? I forget.

Oh, and I didn't get a chance to update the pre-season ranking column because PD sucks big balls. There is no way to see the final results of a race unless you play the entire replay...at least I can't figure it out. I didn't have an additional hour last night to watch the whole thing. Next time I'll grab the ranking from the results view before leaving the lobby.
