WiiFreak ran a 109.9 on his second lap. I'd say he'll probably be running 109.5's during the race. Your parts will definitely get you down to a low 1:10.

So I just picked my parts for next week. Not too many options with only 5k to spend but I went from 1:11s to 1:09s. I will likely be toward the back of the starting grid if the reward system works out properly. I'm not sure if my car has gained enough power to be quicker than WiiFreak, Sl3ight, and Sohn, but I shouldn't have any trouble keeping up with their draft. Grenade and Diabolic on the other hand will likely be out of reach since they had faster cars to begin with and have plenty of credits to spend.

REMINDER: I NEED PART SELECTIONS NO LATER THAN WEDNESDAY @ 12:00PM OR YOU WILL BE FORFEITING PART SELECTION ENTIRELY.

If you don't have time to tune, then your best bet is to check your rewards here and pick some parts based on the pricing here.

12:00PM EST?

Dont count on mine being a lot faster. With the added ballast, I've lost straight line speed. However, my tire's wear evenly now and I'm quite a lot more stable at corner exit. I'm thinking the levins and iamsupernasty will make the noticeable jumps, but the top 7-8 cars will be the same (however a bit jumbled)

Yes, 12:00PM Eastern Daylight Time.

I'm hoping for a top 10 finish myself, but I'd love to see WiiFreak out of the top 10. A few drivers have the potential of pulling off a win to knock WiiFreak out of the top spot. Despite my decent finish at GVE-R, I will likely start the season off slow. In fact, I'm starting to think I didn't pick the right car...no turbo is really going to hurt. I'll never get that straight line speed for an easy win.

So , do I have 15,000 Cr. or 30,000 Cr. to spend on my car? (just checked the spreadsheet)

I have parts from everyone except GrenadeShark at this point. I need them by 12:00EDT (2.5hrs from now) if you plan on installing anything for tonight's race.

Ok, we're good to go for tonight! Good luck everyone. I'll have the room open around 9:30 for practice. Qualifying will begin at 9:50 with an auto-start set for 10:00. Don't be late!

@Shark--- I dont have time to respond presently, but if you'd kindly bask in my excellence for a moment I'll be right back. Gotta modulate the spreadsheets. Torque curve could be hugely important  Die in a Fire.

You asked about hitting 1:07s...so I assume your able to reach 1:08s easily. With a modded Miata...I think I guessed right!

PS: Another PSN comment win last night goes to...ME for telling the dirty shuffle arabic person he was unhappy the TSA agents wouldnt allow him to fly.
Classic me all around. High fives. Photo op. 👍

There are a bunch of drivers tonight that will have cars capable of running 1:07-1:08 but it takes some skill to get the right rotation and exit speed out of the hairpins to pull it off. I will be solid middle of the pack just hoping not to get rear ended on the first lap (like last night).

Please, PLEASE leave adequate room between you and the car ahead of you on the first lap. You can't tailgate into the 2nd hairpin with 16 cars bunched together without causing trouble. Take it easy for a few laps and scope out the competition. You've got 75 laps to get 'er done.

The Vette has a chance to keep from getting lapped by everyone
it can hit a 1:10.987 without draft and mid 1:11.xxx consistently.
now if i can do that in the race I'll be happy.

I suck. I was hosting a lobby tonight and time got away from me. By the time I realized it, it was too late. Sorry Chuyler.

It was fun while it lasted though guys. Best of luck to all, and I look forward to next year!
