I was hoping my Furai would do it, but it just doesn't have the power on the straits and 7th is the best i could do. Havn't tried the Zonda R yet, but i'd imagine it won't be any better. I'm only level 16 a-spec so i can't get the minolta. And i've only just started "extreme" in b-spec so i'm not sure what cars i'll need to buy soon that might do it. I assume i need an american car for the american series, what about the super gt and german touring car series? Is there anything i can get that will do a future cup? I only have 1,000,000cr and maybe 500,000cr worth of cars to sell. Grinding is taking to long, i've been doing the 2 lap nurburgring for 33,000cr. Any thoughts or advice? I don't want to spend my cash on a nascar if i need it all for this.

The Furai is the best for the Job, it lets you turn without braking the car. Have you tried raising the top speed and Turning off some Aids? Because you are only holding down the accelerator the Aids do nothing but hinder you, especially the ABS.

Super GT can be done with any car, use the Minolta you get from like the Wind.
German Touring car series can be done with the Lexus IS F Racing Concept. It is in the New Car Dealership under Lexus, costs $750,000. When you are the level for it, get a Fully tuned Chevy ZR1 and use the Indy 500 track to farm money, gives 98,000 per win that can be done in about 4 minutes.

The cheapest car is free. You win a Minolta Toyota 88C-V by winning Like the Wind in A-spec. Use that to win Like the Wind B-spec.

Thanks guys just won the oval by less than 100th of a second. with my level 9 bob because he had highest temperament. Was leading all way but not by much. got overtaken in last 500 yards lol. I just hammered increase speed all the way round, his bar was at maximum all the way and his physical and mental was empty half way round. On lap 15 I tried to get his bar down to middle but they started catching.

Its not a case of finding a cheap car for this event even the expensive ones are not easy to win with. I eventually did it with my Minolta after some pro bob tips I got from these threads.

well a cheap race car is what i meant, so still not cheap. The best i did at daytona was 7th and 4th at indy. so clearly i need a race car.

buy a nascar it wont win you the like the wind series but i used the nascar to win the nascar series and also the american series so i spent 500000 to win 2 championships

I beat Like the wind just then only using the Furai. I only got the highrpm turbo. I Haven't even got the full engine tune. Just mess with final drive and aero, and use the other cars slip steam. I also cut the first corner on the chicane lol. You can easily out brake them on the first corner each lap.

Actually I just checked I haven't upgraded the turbo or engine at all. So you should be able to do it.

I'm not worried about winning myself, but its bob that looses the draft and falls behind. Are you maxing the downforce? leaving it light?

Honestly win it with the furai in a spec, then use the toyota you win for b spec. Tip, if using the furai in a spec, dont ever brake when racing on the circle track, just keep the throttle down

Get the Minolta

Tune it up , Turbo , Oil Change , Body Ridigity

Give it to Bob , nag him till he is in the lead then Nag him with a Maintain Pace . Watch the Race from the Live timing Screen if his laps start to get Slower Pace him up

Car Free

Turbo Stage 3 = 30,000cr
Body Ridigity = 20,000cr
Oil Change = 250cr (Change Oil before you Race or Use the Car for a Healthy *Free BHP Increase*

Minolta will kick out 991 BHP after Mods and up too 1040 BHP after a Full Rebuild , but as its still New don't bother yet

My Bob's have Never lost a Race in the Minolta

sigh, you guys are no help, lol. I'm trying not to play a spec until i get a wheel(sold out everywhere). I'm just going to buy a nascar and move on for now.

My Bspec thread closed because of this one. ? Oh my god he has told you on more than one occasion he hasn't unlocked Aspec event. My Minolta can't win the first like the wind race in Bspec. Help please.

Yeah, we need something to bully you about. Oh, and a question mark replaces a full stop. You don't use both.

hey guys just wondering whats a good car to use on this series???
i tried using the following cars and they are fully tuned... but nethier one seems to do the trick... R8 5.2, ACR, RM ZR1, Zonda R, Furai, and even the Bugatti...

Well, you can do it with the Bugatti and the Furai. Infact, you can use the Furai on both tracks successfully. Make sure your downforce is set to max, and the trans for the Furai is set for just above 200 MPH. For Indy, use the Furai. Just hold down the throttle, gain ground on the corners, and draft/block on the straights. You can use the Veyron at Daytona. Make up ground on the straights/banks.

this is the setup I used too. Worked.

Mazda Furai [won in the B-Spec NR-A Roadster Cup event] --> Daytona

Minolta 88C-V [won in the A-Spec Like The Wind event] --> Indy

However, if you're lucky enough to own a FGT or X1, then I'd use them for this event just to give Bob a somewhat unfair advantage amongst A.I. competitors.

That's what I did. First victum on lap 3 :D

You need a proper race car to get Gold on Indy in B.Spec ... the best I've done with the Furai is 3rd and the Bugatti is useless on that event ... even the Suzuki Escudo comes short in this one ...

Most realistic is to win A.spec Like the Wind and get the Minolta, or have enough money to buy another race car like the Peugeot 905, Mazda 787 or any of the other cars you race against in that event ...

In B spec, You can easily win the first race with the Suzuki Escudo, with the right setup.

Still working on the indy circuit.

Yes I know you can do it with race cars and the X1 but I haven't got one, not everybody has.

Having completed the A spec Like the Wind a while ago I used the Minolta Toyota (fully upgraded) which "Bob" was able to use to great effect and win both races.

I initially used the Minolta. Lately I have had Bob in the FGT pretty much everywhere it can enter. He has already racked up over 20,000 miles on it and the engine is worn out but he keeps winning with it and I let him keep driving it.

I did let him run the X1 once just to see how he did :)
