We'll see, I guess. GameStop told me the promotional codes for the God of War characters doesn't become activated til' the 28th, and to use it then. Thanks again TsukubaT. for that info. đź‘Ť

I played for a few hours and it does hurt my eyes.:ill:

Though this game is rock solid to the core and is even worth it at the 60 buck price. You'd be ripping these guys off at 40 bucks!

I unlock few cars that the creators made... How they do thin cockpit/rails? I cant figure it out... As well How they make THIN LINES?
What I mean by thin lines is that when I create something, I always need to choose between depth 1,2, 3, by pressing L1 and L2. And making something always takes out ONE FULL space. How can I create single thin Pole or wall out of wood?
R1 and R2 will thicken and thin the material you are using to be three planes thick or thin enough to just be a plane barrier, as in thin enough to fit on the front or back of a plane. That is how they are making the thin rails and whatnot.

Can't wait til' tomorrow. Servers should be up, and a chance to see what it's like to play online. :)

Your wait is over, servers are up!

For some reason it still won't accept my GameStop code though.

You're welcome, Reventon. đź‘Ť :)

I've tried to figure this out yesterday too. The controls are so tricky. They should have made a better camera for level creating. At some points in creating a level you do indeed need a way better camera. It's so frustrating. This would be a "minus" in my book. :indiff:

In the beta you could adjust the camera to a degree with the right stick. And when you moved planes or changed thickness the camera automatically moved to an angle to allow you to see it.

Also, those wondering about your pre-order codes. Tonight.

Thanks, Foolkiller.

Anyways, if I'm not in you're friend list it would be nice to add me and play some LBP together. :D
I had to double check your PSN ID under your name, but yes, RabiaEX is on my list already.

And now that I think about it I saw you on last night playing LBP ad got a bit huffy about it. Best Buy is backordered because they didn't get as many as GameStop and they can't guarantee me anything before next week. But they did upgrade me to free express shipping to get it to me ASAP.

If I find it first I am canceling. I already have my Nariko code and they already refunded my $5 for the preorder bonus.

Anyone looking for Kratos codes?
You got extras? I wouldn't mind one.

Best Buy's Web site says my order is currently being fulfilled (sales talk for being put in a box), so I should have it soon.

And just like that, the servers are offline again. Apparently, there were so many online glitches that single player was affected. No word on when they'll be back up.

im looking for a code (if anyone got any extraones , i ordered for EB and never got one)

and am i the only one that the game has super long loading times and lags

Disconnect your PS3 from the Internet. It automatically logs in to the LBP servers and they have gotten very slammed.

If you are trying to do something online give it a few days as they are attempting to fix the server issues.

I played the online yesterday for a little bit more than half an hour. It's good news that they shut them down and are fixing it because it was horrible. have you guys tried it? It had so many glitches. :(

EDIT: I just saw the Game Trailers' review of the game. They gave it 9.4/10. I'm happy with this rating. :D

I only lag when starting the game. Afterwards, crystal smooth in every game. The only thing I didn't like was when I clicked to Play Online on a level, the majority of the time I would appear by myself despite the map having hundreds of people playing.:indiff:

Edit* Servers back online, but still some issues.

Well, UPS says that my copy is on the truck headed for my house now. So, I should have it waiting for me when I get home.

LittleBigPlanet is now sitting on my doorstep.

And I am stuck in a teleconference call. :grumpy:

This looks like a fun game, but is it a game for kids - compared to Rachet & Clank for example?

Will my 11 year old (girl) enjoy it? Will my 6 year old (girl) be able to play it? Will my ?? year old spouse (girl) consider playing it?

What do you all think?

I was hoping my 4 year daughter and my ??? year old wife might be interested....., eh not so much. I might have to make a custom level with a princess theme for my daughter before she'll play it. We'll see.

I believe as another member said, it looks like a kid's game, but the execution is the complete opposite. It does take some time getting used to and quite a few challenges can get pretty frustrating by yourself.

I wish I could give you an answer, but I have no kids, both the dog and cat lack opposable thumbs, and my wife hasn't tried it yet. However, my wife says that she wants to play, but it always turns into her lying on the sofa asleep next to me, kicking me with her feet, and eventually me moving to another seat.

I am thinking of creating a level with very, very basic mechanics setup so that she can try it out without all the speech bubbles popping up and the pressure to find everything.

I think that with the creation tools it allows for a very easy way to slowly ease a traditionally non-gamer into the platformer style.

Um, did the servers go down for anyone again? I've been reading a couple posts & blogs from today that they can't get online again.:ouch:

PSFanboy is saying they did.

Last night I was able to get my level from the beta, but I couldn't access any other online levels, even though I could see levels made by guys in my friends list.

After doing some tweaking on my level I will see if I can publish it or not.

I may just spend a lot of time in Story mode since I never got past The Gardens last night because I started messing with my level. Create mode is addicting I tell. Heroin, crack, tobacco.....they are nothing in comparison to LittleBigPlanet Create mode.
