Someone knows how to get the Dr. FrankenStein trophy, because i have no idea where i cna make a living thing:(
It's something you can do in Create Mode.

I got that trophy while going through the create mode tutorials - which I highly recommend! Not only will you earn lots of goodies and stickers by going through the tutorials, but you need to finish all the tutorials in order to get the Expert Creator trophy:

I know its in create mode but i forgot how to make it.:dunce:
In the description it says "Create a living creature with at least 2 eyes, 2 legs or wheels, and a brain."

If that doesn't work while you are in edit mode, I'd suggest doing the tutorial, as it will automatically earn you that trophy when you complete that part of the tutorial.

In all honesty, the only hard non-gold is probably Booty Master.

I am missing my golds, Booty Master, and the 4-player game ones.

Do teh 4 player ones have to be online? I have 4 controllers and could very easily add all my system accounst to my friends list. Then when I complete and win that level I will get two more trophies. Then I will just have to figure out how to get a 4-player game with strangers going where some nitwit doesn't hit the No Entry sign.

No doubt... but they make up for it with that Booty Master trophy. Some of those prize bubbles are well hidden, although unlike some games, you don't need a game guide to find them, just the desire to explore each area. :)

One of the most challenging parts for me was the co-op section in the Boom Town level of The Canyons. Not only did it take me a while to figure out the "puzzle", but even when I knew exactly what I had to do, there are sooo many ways things can go wrong, and once you accidentally blow up a cart, the only choice then is to start the level all over again. :ouch:

Not that I'm complaining mind you. In fact, I actually wish there were more of those types of challenging problem solving sections in the story levels. 👍

I think because I had the most interest in the co-op nature of LBP, among the first few trophies I won in LBP were the multi-player ones:

Friendly --- Party Person --- Socialite --- Top of the Class

I'm pretty sure I got them all while online. The Party Person should be easy, as you have lots of PSN friends with LBP. I'll be happy to play a 4-player game with you, so just find two more on your list and we are good to go... and if you ask nice I wont slap or push you into a hazard so you can win the level and thus earn the Top of the Class trophy as well. :D

To get the Socialite one, I started a popular story level (you can tell how many people are playing a story level by the number shown next to the little sackboy icon). I then waited for another player to join. When one showed up, I would use my headset, although having a text message ready may be even better, as it is easily noticed, asking them not to start the level until we got two more players. This worked great for me, and in no time we had 4 players and finished the level. 👍

In all honesty I could already have at least one of these if it weren't for the early server issues. Between my somewhat slow connection and the server issues I couldn't get a 4 player game going until the most recent server update. Hopefully it will eventually run as smooth as Home and Warhawk do.

No kidding on the text message thing. I can't count the number of times Omnis and I would be waiting and a third person comes in and he says on his headset, "Don't go past the no entry sign so we can get a fourth." They inevitably run past it and then back and wave. Then Omnis usually made some sarcastic remark and they left.

Good point. One thing to keep in mind though, even if you are experienceing lag, just ask everyone to be patient, and as long as just one of you can make it to the end without anyone quiting the game, then it still counts. 👍

I also find the best way to handle lag when it comes up is to just stop moving. It usually goes away in just a couple seconds. Also, if some or even all the other players' sackpeople perish, this also minimize lag, especially if you have a slow connection and you are the host. Of course, it's only temporary until you reach the next checkpoint, but at least it helps. :)

My issue is when someone gets dropped. Like when we did the X3 part on The Bunker and then we got dropped and logged out of the PSN (???). I got 100% of the items on that play but didn't receive the 100% bonus.

Anyway, I know it can run smoother. Too many other games make it work. But I am glad to know it is not just me and that MM admit there are issues and they are working to fix them.

I myself have even been logged out, so I know what you mean. :ouch:

Quite right. I suspect they'll need to do away with players hosting games, and just have dedicated servers, but honestly I've never really fully understood the multiple nuances and complexities that are involved in how servers work with multiple users from multiple regions with varying connection types and speeds. I don't think it's a coincidence that every IT technician I have ever met or had work on my equipment always appear to be stressed out. :indiff:

I’ve always found a bit of trouble with lag online because I’m in Aus and I don’t know any Aussies with LBP so it’s either deal with lag or play with randoms, and then you still may get lag.

But it’s odd because I play online in other games with people all over the world with no lag, so as you say FK there’s definitely room for improvement.

Yeah, we had all kinds of trouble when we tried playing together.

Well, I decided to check out Sackbook.com today to look for some more levels and I get this message on the home page.

8th December 2008:
As expected I've been asked by Sony's Sacklawyers to take down Sackbook whilst they take a look at how the data is accessed to ensure everything is safe and lovely (it is, but they are right to make sure of such important things).

Please keep your burlap fingers crossed that Sackbook can return in the not-too-distant future in some form or other. If you cross your toes too, there may even be added useful thingamabobs and fun doodahs to play with.

Hope to see you all again soon,
Chris & Sackbook the Sackboy.

Come on, Sony! You dropped the ball at launch and some fans are making the community aspect of the game mean more than just a forum on the official Web site. It was an honor to your game, not some violation. Even if you don't like how the site works you should show them how to do it in an approved manner and then allow anyone to do that so that we can add or own LBP widgets to our blogs and whatnot.

I hope this ends well and soon.

EDIT: Here is his blog site and the thread on LBP's site protesting it:

Hey guys. Would you guys recommend buying this game if the user had no source of internet on the ps3(i like -_-)?

There are a lot of people that don't even play user created levels, and I didn't until I got through all of the story levels, which was after countless hours over a couple weeks. In addition, even without going online, you and those who use your PS3 can still create your own levels/stories. So yeah, I'd definitely say it's still worth it, but it's also worth figuring out a way to play online as that just adds a whole new dimension to the game. 👍

If you're lucky Blakey-Boy I'll let you play with me sometime.

I've now completed up to the Metropolis with all prize bubbles and Aced. :D

I'll get right on making my level. Promise...

Edit: Now I've completed The Islands also :D

OK, how do you get the bubbles at the very top of the construction site? On the triple hanging beam? I was only able to get the ones on the bottom beam - every time I tried the swing/run/jump trick, it just jammed my head on the bottom of the shorter beam above. Am I doing it right but timing it wrong?

With the Key above?

I struggled for a while, then tried a different tack - I used the middle beam like a pink-platform (The Wedding). Get a serious swing going on with the bottom beam, then hop up to the middle one (easier said than done, granted) and pick an edge to stand on. Watch the motion of the middle beam - it should dip violently every now and then and, as it resets, jump when you reach the top of its arc. You can provoke the motion by jumping on it, but there's no predictable pattern.

It'll take a couple of attempts.

To follow up what Famine already said, you can trigger the beam to move up and down by either running from one side to the other, or timing your jumps, so that when you land, it is starting to go down... thus like the spring boards from the Wedding levels, it will then allow you to jump higher as it's going back up.

OK, thanks. On the Wedding springboards the only effect I ever managed was to utterly dampen the oscillations, but there are others in the family with that knack.

Yeah, apparently I'm the only one (of three) here with the ability to use the pink springy platforms. It's not about timing - the time interval varies - but about jumping when the platform is at its highest. Otherwise, in LBP-physics-land, you're exerting a downward force on an object moving upwards, cancelling out some of its kinetic energy. Wait until it has finished moving and you can use its kinetic energy for yourself :D

Here's the free DLC this week, er month.
