Tuned by request for: @Linlashi
Specifications:
Performance Points: 550pp
Max. power: 502 BHP
Weight: 1100kg
Weight Distribution: 50:50

This car was tuned with SRF: OFF around Trial Mountain and has the transmission set for there.
Normally I would have had SRF on but as this was a referral from another tuner who uses only ABS to tune, I thought I would do so as well.
Have fun and enjoy your drive!

Our first GT500 car to be released had to be a good one. So I have spent a lot of time getting this HSV ready to take on the rest of the field. At 597pp it is competitive with most if not all other race cars and the settings should allow you to get even more from this car when you install the extra turbo kits. I have ran many races at 648pp with the same suspension settings and a transmission change to cope with the extra power.
Have fun and enjoy your drive!

Thanks for your kind words and complimentsHi everyone:
First of all I wanna thank both the superb tuners here.
I also use the DS3 controller and your tunes are spot on [maybe a lil tweak but that's normal and rarely happens with your tunes.]
I wanted to share that this tune you have for the Integra Dc5 also works perfectly for the Civic 4 door Type R in all the parts.
Thank you once again.
The R390 will be so much better with higher pp, I had to sacrifice as much downforce as possible because the power is so low. A 600 tune is being worked on as we speak.The Nissan 390 tune seems interesting am gonna test it this weekend! Also I finally found my n1 request tune I really would love to be done: Nissan Silvia K's Dia Selection (S13) '90. That car looks so awesome I just want to race it on 500 PP race soft!💡 Also the Nissan 240 SX '96 would be awesome on Race Soft and 500 PP!
ThanksFantastic tunes
@Thorin Cain
You've made a fantastic tune for the Scion FR-S. I love it very much, as it feels so good when using a DS3 because that's what I have. I've beaten the Willow Springs 20 Mile Challenge, 24 Minutes of Nurburgring, Mount Panorama 500PP Time Trial and more. I love going on online races in 500pp or 550pp with this car. I want to give you my gratitude for making this tune that brought me so much joy when racing.
I'll be heavily posting more videos of the FR-S using your tune in the future.
Oh there's much more videos of the car coming out. I just have to find a way to stop being lazy to record them!Thanks for the video
I am happy to see that you enjoy the car.
There's a blast from the past! Yeah I'll get on that at some point.Thorin any chance of a tune for Chevy CAMARO LM Race Car.

Hey. Well, not so much for new tunes unfortunately. I have been working on a 450pp S2000 06 on sports tyres for the ring which may interest you. I am doing it as a request for someone who posted looking for help with it.You made some progress with new tunes and updates during this week off from work? it's been silent here this week
I'll have some fun with the gears on this one. Not sure how racing tires will go with my test setup, but I'll get some numbers for you and ask you to retest and give some feedback.Opera Performance S2000 '04.

Another fine example of the S2000 Pedigree...This version is lighter than the Amuse R! and is even more fun to drive!
@Dirty_Duck and I have been doing a good few S2000 Track Days with a few friends and have really been showing why this is a great platform to work on. We have both came up with our own versions of both this and the Amuse R1 and although they differ in driving characteristics all 4 of these cars are very much the same character...WINNERS!
@Dirty_Duck will be posting his two cars when time permits so look out for them!!!
Have fun and enjoy your drive
Sounds good to meI'll have some fun with the gears on this one. Not sure how racing tires will go with my test setup, but I'll get some numbers for you and ask you to retest and give some feedback.
Not 100% sure to be honest. Most of the settings will be fine but there may be a little issue with the camber and toe as they were set to use the harder, less grippy sports tyres.Is this new 450 tune also good on race soft?
Here's what I came up with for your Opera S2000@ 525pp transmission settings. Personally, I wouldn't have given it the oil change, but hey...your tune your rules!Sounds good to me
Thanks for taking the time to do this @Lionheart2113, it's a method I've not seen before (as far as I remember anyway.) and I'm interested to see how it goes. I'll give it a go, when I get on later and let you know how I get on.Here's what I came up with for your Opera S2000@ 525pp transmission settings. Personally, I wouldn't have given it the oil change, but hey...your tune your rules!
Set initial final to 4.300
Top speed slider down to min (124mph)
Adjust 6th gear to 100%
Adjust gears 1-5*
1st - 0% available slider
2nd - 20% available slider
3rd - 40% available slider
4th - 60% available slider
5th - 80% available slider
6th - 100% as previously mentioned
*Adjusting these gears can effect not only the jump off the line, but other handling characteristics*
Your settings of 0/20/40/60/80/100 are perfect for general tuning and allows adjustments from there depending on track. I have a few other percentage settings I use, but I won't fill up your garage with my crackpot theories! Being a tiny fish in a little duck pond and all!
Setting the Final for the second time per track.
Final set at...(with 6th gear @ 100%) these are your possible top speeds
5.500 = 91mph
5.250 = 96mph
5.000 = 100mph
4.750 = 106mph
4.500 = 112mph
4.250 = 118mph
4.000 = 126mph
3.750 = 134mph
3.500 = 144mph
3.250 = 155mph
3.000 = 168mph
2.750 = 182mph under it's own power 184mph when drafting
2.500 = 189mph under it's own power 203mph when drafting
For Laguna Seca I got up to 141mph top speed without drafting, so I would guess the final to be between 3.250-3.500 allowing for the draft of course.
This setup can hurt your speeds when drafting on VERY long straights, but should be fine for the other 95% of the tracks.
This is how I set up my transmissions and it's sole purpose is to give me the shortest gears possible (using an automatic transmission) without sacrificing too much power. I am curious to see what manual users think of it.
Oh and before I forget, your tune for this guy...Very responsive!👍
Cheers for that. Yeah my garage has taken a backseat because of my transmissions and creating spreadsheets for cars/pp/tracks for reference. So does that mean we will see you representing little duck pond at the next FITT challenge? I certainly hope so!Thanks for taking the time to do this @Lionheart2113, it's a method I've not seen before (as far as I remember anyway.) and I'm interested to see how it goes. I'll give it a go, when I get on later and let you know how I get on.
I agree about the oil change when tuning for set pp, this usually reduces the max power levels we can achieve for the pp:tup:
Oil changes were something I would always do automatically after buying a car, I stopped doing it a while ago for that reason, unless of course the oil change is needed to reach a desired pp.
I hope very responsive is a good thing I'm taking it as a compliment anyway. And from a F.I.T.T shootout winner too.
Congrats by the way! I meant to drop by your garage and say that.
Who knows? I'll get there eventually. Not much call for RS tunes thoughCheers for that. Yeah my garage has taken a backseat because of my transmissions and creating spreadsheets for cars/pp/tracks for reference. So does that mean we will see you representing little duck pond at the next FITT challenge? I certainly hope so!
I'm really glad you found it to be a little more helpful. And I'm anxious to see how it goes for your hot laps....that will be the true test. My 9 year old son and I are going through some cars right now and finding some speed depending on if we do a general setup(max speed possible for a particular car at "x"pp; then adjust per track) or one for a specific track (good for those single track attacks)Hey @Lionheart2113. I didn't get a chance to give this a proper test out last night, but I did apply the settings and have a couple of races with it. With the exception of being a little slow off the line I found it to be a very good transmission. I used it around Laguna Seca(in a 575pp race, final gear at 3.250 Placed 2nd due to crash in corkscrew on final lap) and Suzuka(550pp Race, final gear at 3.000. Won by 12 seconds in 3 laps over Subaru 22B and NSX '02) and I like the way this transmission set-up pulls, strong and smooth. For me it felt better in the higher gears than the one I use for it already, but lacked the aggresion in the lower gears that I'm use to with this car. Easily remedied of course with a couple of adjustments to the individual ratios.
I'm going to give it a good run out round Laguna when I get on this afternoon and get use to it a bit more and see how the laps compare to the version I have up already. The times I ran in the races last night were very close to my normal times but I could feel there was potential there to improve the times with a couple of minor tweaks to the rest of my tune.
Nice work my friend, thanks!
