Hey @GTPDAMO, I had a little run about in the Scud this morning and yup I see what you mean. I went back to Suzuka with it as It was the only place I've got a ghost for it and couldn't get close. Through the first section alone I lost over a second and a half, First change made: Rear ARB to 5. Had an instant effect, rear is a bit looser and is almost right on top of the ghost for the full lap. Running 1.51.4s. Still a little understeer on exit to mid-high speed corners.

I need to pop out now for an hour or so but I'm coming back to this later. There are some gains to be made here I think, just hope I can find them without spoiling the fun too much. Expect an updated tune later.

Thanks thorin, I've got a little time to play tonight so I will add the change above if you haven't updated by the time I get online. Come to think of it I should of tried the standard 430 too lol. I know what it's like with life getting in the way but that's what life's for lol and every minute of your time is much apreciated :D

I've tried the standard one too, it's much the same if not a little more understeery:grumpy:. I'll get to that one too as well as I'm guessing the SP1 which should be much the same. Interesting to see if the same kind of changes apply to each of them.
Thanks Damo:D

430 Scuderia mini update.

I have made the following changes today, which have taken my ghost to pieces on Suzuka. Ghost lap from original tuning/testing session 1:51 463. New fastest lap ghost 1:51.251. Should have been sub 1:51 but I ran wide on exit of Degner one and lost a bit of time to the sand. (As usual! Some of my friends will say:P)

ARB changed to 5/5
Camber added to 0.7/1.5(May change again...)

LSD changed to 13/16/24.

I also noticed when checking the transmission that some of the values seem to have changed for individual gears. If this is an issue for anyone just let me know and I'll help you out with a replacement gearbox:tup:

I will update the original post when I'm totally happy with the new settings.

Hope you enjoy the drive again!:D

@GTPDAMO. I take it back, the standard F430 round Suzuka was almost spot on! I had been using a slightly tamer version which hasn't responded too well to the update but the original posted tune is just fine. That's not to say it can't be better...;)

Edit: Changed camber to 0.7/1.5 and Toe to -0.15/0.03 for F430 for 575pp round Indy road course. Beat a Gallardo, Corvette Stngray '69 and a C8 Laviolette and did so with one of these:D Still more to be had from other settings again though.

If I had to fire my Australian photographer, you need to lay off your technical director!

"Ghost lap from original tuning/testing session 1:51 463. New fastest lap ghost 1:15.251." From 1:51 down to 1:15.... I know you're fast, but WOW what a difference! :D

The camber was just that helpful:lol:

Whoops, your right! I'll need to be having words with myself! It'll have to wait till I can get some privacy, that'll be a heated conversation and I don't want to give others the wrong impression:mad::guilty::lol:

Thanks for that, fixing it now.👍

Another GT300 car has been given a little going over down here under the mountain. I remember the Asparadrink version well from GT5 and as I recall it was only ever second place to the Garaiya on the twisty bits. This version should give it a run for it's money and should leave it for dead on the straights!
And no the number is no coincidence, this thing is a fighter with superb cornering ability and will always give as good as it gets, so there was only ever one number I could put on it's Racing Plates!
We here under the mountain remember the mighty Marco Simoncelli #58, Requiescat in pace!

A very nice tune...thank you:)

Hey Thorin!
Do you have any new upcoming tunes for us in the coming weeks?!👍
Hey SuperSic. Should have a few. I'm finishing up a Mitsubishi HSR-II and Nissan R390 Road Car both at 550pp, which should be up today or tomorrow. Also still got about another 10-15 cars at various stages including some updates of older tunes going on.

I have a couple of others I'm working on for a few racing series here and there, I'll put these up if and when the requesters allow.

Sorry there's been a bit of a slow down, but I'm sure you understand. I just don't have much time to get to GT these days, most days I'm only getting an hour or two and it usually takes me at least that long to work on one car.

Mr. Thorin, sir, great job. Handles very good... :)

Very nice tune sir! 👍

PS: Just out of curiosity, is the R390 as good as was in GT5?

I fully understand! Ill give the Spirra a new shot with the updates and see how it goes in the coming days! Looking forward to your new tunes and older car updates! :)

Many thanks cbarbosa. Glad you like it:cheers:

The R390 is a bit underpowered at 550pp but I have a feeling once it gets up towards the 600 mark, it will be real good.

This car was tuned with SRF: OFF around Trial Mountain and has the transmission set for there.

Normally I would have had SRF on but as this was a referral from another tuner who uses only ABS to tune, I thought I would do so as well.

Have fun and enjoy your drive!
