ohh man, add a handbrake and you have perfection!
this is gonna be a diffinate after my ps3 and gt5 comes out!

Yeah,if Gt5 had 100% compatibility, this will be awesome. After that, you can sell your car and go to work with the skyline :D

🤬 🤬 🤬 🤬 🤬 *bangs head on wall* way back when, i vowed that i would never purchase a wheel untill they came out with one that had an H gate shifter and a clutch. but after all the great things i was hearing about the DFP and figuring they would probably never come out with a wheel like that anyway, i finaly droped the cash to pick one up. And now here comes this thing. OMG this thing is perfect!.....:indiff: looks like i'll be shoving my (almost never used) DFP back into it's box and looking for a buyer. Lets see, $500 for a PS3, $300 for this. Plus a cocpit, and whatever GT5 costs... yeah i better start saving.

What are the 4 red buttons for?

I'd imagine they're user-programmable, so you can set them up to be for whatever you want, depending on the game. Could be pit-lane limiter, horn etc...

Word on the streets is that Atari is working on making Test Drive work with this baby on the PC.:sly:

The Red buttons though are to make using the wheel more realistic.

GTR2 with this thing is gonna rock!
And btw, don't worry about Limited Edition. It usually means the 1st set of these made will be different somehow from the next batch.

I wonder how the pedals and the shifter feel. The pedals should have a rather strong resistance and should actually feel differently compared to each other (accelerator fairly easy, brake getting harder when you push it, clutch with a noticeable point of friction). Also, the shifter should feel meaty and lock in place in each gear, rather than just feeling like a plastic stick pushing a button inside.
So, I wonder what this thing actually feels like, cause if it's too artificial, it could spoil the whole experience.

If it does feel like that, hopefully it'll help bring down the price of a DFP.

They'll probably replace the stainless steel bits with plastic.

What's the diameter of this wheel?? Mayb the pedals are stand alone USB, so you can use them with the DFP???

:)

A logitech employee posted on another board that the shifter will work with any game that supports direct button presses for gears (i.e. a separate button for each gear). Currently that includes quite a few games including GT Legends and GTR.
