How would the G25 simulate the force feedback in PS3 driving games such as GT5 when the controllers themseles don't have the rumble feature anymore. Would developers still include the rumble in their games?

oh my god........ok..now I have a reason to build a pc to keep next to the cockpit im building...and an extra ps2...WOW i am blow the f&** away. Great Job Logi...finally we get a leather wrapped wheel too...not some rubber crap.

Anyone want to buy a Driving Force Pro?

I would assume PD would be designing the game knowing there is a force feedback wheel designed for it. I coudlnt see them not.

The article says it is a pc and a PS2 wheel. They don't talk about the PS3, I'm wondering....

My only hope is that, when they start selling this baby, the prices of the DFP are going to drop by a good ammount. Then, I might be able to buy one 💡

Right now the only way to buy (here in Brazil) is by importing it. And it gets WAY too expensive! :ouch:

Yea...same here in my country. Hope that DFP's price will drop. Or maybe I could buy the used one since everybody want to buy this new G25.

Really hope it..hehehe

I'm selling my DFP. Has almost never been used. It's still in perfect working order. I bougth my first DFP at the first moment they were available over here in Europe. After a little over 1 year, the potmeters of the pedals gave up, so I ordered (before calling Logitech) a new DFP. I told about this problem on GTP and someone told me to contact logitech, which I did and Logitech gave me new pedals. At the same time my new DFP arrived (I couldn't cancel the order anymore), so I had 2 of them :ouch: . I kept using my older one. I sold my older DFP and my pc some months ago and I almost haven't played anymore. So this DFP is almost the same as a complete new set. I live in Europe and I don't know how much it is to send it to Malaysia or Brazil.

yeah i have ttwo dfps but the pedals for both are messd up :( 1 set of pedals has a problem with the wiring and the other has a similar problem which i dont have the means or skills to fix.

I bought mine from gameone.com.br
R$ 800, but you forgot the value instantly after 2:11 minutes of playing.

Nice! It's good to know a store that has it for sale, but 800 it's too much for me.
I had to save all the money I earned last year to buy the PS2 Slim in December... college takes almost everything I get :ouch: But this year I already got R$400 some, soon I might have enough!! 👍

Thanks for the tip!

I thought it was strictly SONY controllers(ie the ones that come with teh console) that will not have vibration? Therefore, I assume this doesnt affect Logitech continuing to implement it.

i'm wondering too. sounds kinda scary though :nervous:

but i do think that you will be able to use even the old DFP for ps3 then. its gonna have usb so you'll be able to use it there for sure! :sly:

either way, gt5 will definitely be getting a wheel of this standard. polyphony will have already negotatiated with logitech on this stuff - bear in mind how the dfp was ready and released almost a couple of years ahead of gt4.

what'd really put the icing on the cake for me is if polyphony got logitech to do another gran turismo version of the wheel, with sexier black and silver stylings a la the dfp...

$300 US man whats that in suaie dollars 500?.
Anyway do any of you guys have any steering wheels with clutches and if you do where did u get them?

^ thats pretty much it honestly.... this is coming from me... gabkicks... i own every single gran turismo game... I'll buy gt5 deffinatly :)

But honestly LFS puts gran turismo 4 to shame when it comes to realism.
