Good to see Bolt hasn't been fazed at all by all the Blake hype, I am very happy with that result :)

GOLD & SILVER MEDAL FOR JAMAICA, WOOOOOP!?!

Well that was a fantastic finish to an UNFORGETTABLE weekend!!

Goodnight everybody!!!:)

I was in doubt about Bolt until I saw him in the semi finals jogging the 2nd half of the race to a 9.8, knew he would get gold from that point.

I was at Center Court today. :D Amazing atmosphere, so happy that Murray won. The opening set for Mixed Doubles was so promising as well, shame they couldn't pull it off.

EDIT: I'm also really disappointed that Gatlin instead of Gay got bronze, you could tell in his interview that Gay was extremely torn up about it.

Great win for Bolt, not an amazing start, maybe he was a bit cautious, but he sure did pick up the pace after that. Feel sorry for Powell though.

Would've liked to see what Walter Dix could do on that track. Pulled his hammy at trials though. Oh well. I wonder if this field will be around for Rio.

So the guy who threw that bootle on to the track just as the 100m started also shouted abuse to the athletes as they lined up, but it clearly did not effect them!

You can imagine the hype that Bolt and Blake has stirred up down here. What a wonderful achievement. Both of them still have a lot of potential. Bolt did that with an average start, and with a back injury. Powell is coming off of a groin injury, and it seems to have gotten the better of him again today. I doubt he would have been able to beat Gatlin or Gay, however.

Hopefully we can go for a world record in the 4x100, but with Powell injured, he'll have to be replaced. Bolt and Blake are both running the 200m as well.

Lawrence Okoye into the discus final with the 4th longest throw this year by anyone!

The guy is strong as **** and has the length but his technique is terrible. He would be a beast with the right coaching.

Winning Gold at the Olympics is all the more special to us, as this is Jamaica's 50th year of Independence. Today, August 6th, is our Independence Day.

Hopefully the girls can win the women's 4x100. Anyone know the dates of the 4x100 metre evends?

He went to my school, and was in the first team for rugby. Switched to discus 2 years ago, so he's not too bad considering.

Yeah but he could be flinging it over 70m with good technique. He's a monster.

Apparently if Yorkshire were an NOC, we'd be 10th in the medal table.

Just waiting for the favourite for the womens middleweight from my hometown to box and if she wins its a guaranteed medal

Yes, but it's funny because Yorkshire isn't a real countr... oh, right.

Aww i was going to mention that!!

I wonder were Wales would be then?, because we have one gold medallist that i know of, Geraint Thomes in the mens team pursuit cycling..

Jason Kenny wins gold in mens sprint cycling!

Team GB has now won medals 6 out of 7 cycling comps and MILES ahead in the cycling medal table!
