My mom and dad were just in Birmingham and people were congratulating the clean-up operation. One person in front of them start saying it was bad as they'd 'ruined the good work people did last night'.

My mom said she just about resisted the urge to push him down the escalators.

It's the branding that's making them nick all the stuff...Adidas, Nike, Apple, Sony...

Badum tish! :sly:

Something like this should do the trick.

Wouldn't they just think it said 'TAWT'?

He may seem bumbling and confused on the outside sometimes, and I know alot of people are criticial of him (and he is a Tory 👎). But I can't think of no better person to be Mayor of London than BoJo.

Again, I can't see it having been any different if Red Ken were in charge, so it seems unfair for people to blame Boris for the riots, even if he's been a bit slow to actually come out and say something about them.

True. Did anyone see Ken spouting large amounts of crap on Newsnight last night? Wow.

The only good work these rioters can do in my opinion is burn out a Fiat Multipla.

Funny how he can steal all those games, but he can't steal a decent camera.

These rioters aren't excatly Einstein from what I've seen.

Your in Birmingham.

Forgetting the fact you used the wrong word. (You're not Your), what does it matter where I am if I quote the official twitter from Sussex Police?

If you're going to do that sort of thing, why wait until a riot? What's stopping you from doing that generally? Bizarre.

Should think it rather slows down the pace of a riot too. Next they'll be asking arthritic pensioners to take off their shoes.

👍 @ Axletramps toff picture and Floats snake crew one.

People are really scared and I don't feel it at all. Almost every shop in my area has closed. Some didn't even bother coming in today.
The thing is, nothing is happening where I am. Absolutely no-thing. :odd:

All joking aside, I don't feel I should be at work while my pregnant missus is at home alone. This business is pretty scary.

Apparently a church up the road from me is on fire and Ealing Studios is in trouble.

Yep, that mustn't feel too good. 👎

^^Deptford.
New Cross Currys got smashed in though. Not far.

Deptford? That is odd. :odd: But doesn't this sort of thing happen every Friday night there?

Just joking, just joking... ;)

Can you believe that some people on the streets, where the riots are taking place, are handing out leaflets like this:

WTF?!

It recommends growing a beard or getting a haircut. But what do you do if you're bald? Seriously though, that is ridiculous. I doubt many rioters will read that however. They'll be to busy torching churches.

West Brom in trouble, Sky Channel 847.
