AFP - An international expedition to one of Asias most isolated jungles has discovered a virtual "lost world" of new species and giant flowers as well as rare mammals that were unafraid of humans, organizers said.

Oh, why aren't there pictures!

If we can only keep our danged mitts off this place, it would be nice. I find it wonderful that there's still somewhere on earth that people haven't trampled and abused.

There was the Amazon.

My current country is a wildlife refuge, but human incursions are threatening the habitats of even the most remote species (note... threatening... not just encroaching... a lot of native species are already on the endangered list).
