What will be the max allowed HP, or is it PP based ?

I imagine the Hp will be limited to 118bhp because that's the closest you can get- it also takes away the advantage you would get from having a broken in car. :)

Yay a set date! :D by the way i'll be away the 18th so any race that date will be missed. ^^

Edit: but our team will of course win anyways! :D :D

Nooo, when i finally get good at it i miss it! Well it's not my favourite track anyways..

you guys are all crazy and you know you will never lap me :D (except if i drive a lambo in the rain or something.. then you might..)

No worreezz..

Just means it's one less person that could possibly ruin my race by tapping me and spinning me out into a giant lagging ball of death.

More betterly fixeded. :dopey:

The races are too short to really lap anyone, unless they're.... erm... "having really bad luck"

Did some more laps yesterday, and now i am really feeling the track better than the first run i did some days ago. Got it down to 2:02.596

Yeah that's why i need a lambo and some rain ^^ drove it in the final race of GT1 last season and was going soooo slowly. :P couldn't even keep up round the warm up lap..

:scared:

I really need to get some practice in this weekend then, I'm only on a 2'04.7xx, although that was with only 30minutes practice and a less than perfect lap.

I hate this track in reverse. I don't even like it much in forward either. :yuck:

. I've never had the misfortune of being lapped, but then I've only ever done one series and that's the Elises.

Don't think i really got lapped that time either since we were on circuit de la sarthe.. but i would have if it would have been a normal track ^^

I got lapped by the top 4 in Deep Forest. :D

I mean :ouch:.

I got used to being lapped plenty when I started playing GT5 and went straight into an online race series back in October. Being in a car that was usually 2-3 seconds slower in races that took over an hour didn't hurt either.

Meh, I like the Nurb, but there is no better track than La Sarthe (2005 N/C especially).

Still, at least we have my second favourite track- Laguna Seca. :D

:embarrassed: Sorry, forgot about that. Although, you were having some bad luck I think. :)

That wouldn't help , I'd playing GT5 for quite a few months before I joined the Elises so that helps. :)

A combination of bad luck, bad preparation, lack of sleep and probably being a bit slower on that track anyway. I'm a racing driver, I could make excuses all day!

I bought GT5 the day it came out, but only played it sparingly (compared to previous GT games) and by February 2011 I stopped playing altogether. I dusted off my copy and started playing again in October, but made the mistake of going straight into a series, thinking I could be competitive and was then flat-out demolished in my first race out.

I like racing on Circuit de la Sarthe. It's usually a draft fest and the course isn't that interesting, but I tend to be quick there so I get good results. Love the day-night transitions too.

I've been a massive fan of GT since I had the GT2 demo on playstation- I played that to death. But after the release of GT5 was delayed form it's November launch I went through a :nervous: COD phase and didn't get GT5 until July. I've been hooked ever since though. :)

Yes I agree that La Sarthe can be a bit of a draft fest, but it's such a fun track to drive around and draft racing can be fun. :D

I've been a massive fan of GT since 1997 when the first GT demo came out. Got GT when the full game came out and then ignored GT2 when that came out because I arrogantly thought nothing could touch the magnificent original game. :D
By the time I was done with GT1, GT3 was already out. Kept playing that (GT3) and then GT4 constantly until 2006 when my PS2 broke down. I haven't played as much GT since then. Guess I grew up.

The first actual GT I got was GT3- I loved that game and played it at every opportunity. I got GT4 but didn't like it as much and then GT5 prologue which was good fun and now GT5 which is probably my favourite. Although everytime I see/hear anything GT3 I just get all nostalgic. :dopey:

You should sign up for this series, I'm sure you could do it on a temporary basis and just turn up when you feel like it as I know the time is a bit awkward for you. :)

Ah, GT3. That might be my favourite GT. I loved all the little things about it: the way the tracks looked, the lighting, the menu music, the look of the menus, the sound when you make a selection, the prize car carousel, the music when you get a license, the HUD, etc. The game was the first GT with proper modern graphics and had SSR11, complex string, old Rome, the old Vertigo, some of the old LM cars and the old F1 cars. The race series in that game were also second to none. 👍

I'll be at a few races for sure, don't you worry. Right now I have too much on my in-game plate and not as much time to play it, so I'm trying not to think about new racing series. Once the two online series I'm currently in end in 2 and 3 weeks respectively, I'm definitely going to start looking forward to racing in some of the races in this series, early start time or not. 👍

Yup. GT3 is definitely... I'm loathed to say the best because GT5 is the best but GT3 is a classic in my opinion everything about it is memorable. And don't forget Midfield Raceway and Apricot Hill! I only have to hear "Just a Day" by Feeder and I'm immediately transported back 9? years.

Good to hear. I had some great racing with you last season and hope it continues. 👍

EDIT: 300th post- All we need now is more people!
