this is def my favorite combo so far! Mid :22's after about a half hour this afternoon. still haven't run a clean lap yet.......

This is also my first post to GTplanet, so...... hello all:gtpflag:
Welcome

After around 10 laps, I got down to a 20.4. Still lots of time to be found through setup, and just keeping the lap clean.

Ever noticed how much psychology plays a part? I golded the Plymouth in five laps.
I love the Lambo now that it has adjustable DF, so that took three laps. Even if they decided to run it on sports tyres...
Now, I don't like the Elise. Not at all. And that is probably a handicap, since I just could not get a gold running it stock. I barely got the silver infact. And since I just don't like the car, I simply caved in and bought a stage 2 engine tune.

In retrospect, I probably should have invested more time in the setup instead.

Been having a lot of fun with this one in the last few hours running stock & tuned, and so far have managed a 1:26.6 [stock] & 1:23.6 [tuned]..... there is definitely a few more tenths to gain, if not more, just need to smooth out the laps a bit better.

What a great TT. I'm clearly not in the league of you guys, I barely eked out a silver with stock settings no assists. But I had a damn good time doing it!

So fun Super Lap, maybe my favorite since the beginning of the Seasonal events.
I really enjoyed the car/track combination !
I used the 111 RC '04 which is so fuuuuuun to drive. Top handling with zero understeer, good braking, good acceleration (before 200kph), its real problem is the limited top speed. It's the perfect race car on small tracks.

I wonder when the seasonal races will begin, in additional to time trials? Also, I would like to see larger credit payoffs, ones that after factoring the 200% maximum payout multiplier would amount to around a 125,000 to maybe a maximum 200,000 credit payout. Does anyone know the total value in credits of the car dealership? IE, the total cost in credits to purchase every car in all dealerships?

About 540 million.

I used a 111R with nothing but an oil change to improve power, and I had to add some ballast to the car to get it to 530 PP. With no adjustments and SRF off, I got gold on my first complete lap.

Ran a 1:25.000 on my first lap with the 111R on the PP limit with all the aids off. With a slightly more oversteery setup and a few more laps that could drop down quite a bit I'm sure. Wish PD would remove SRF if they're going to do events based around a leaderboard but even with it available I'm not going to use it despite it being slower. Didn't try the '96 version but it might be as fast, little slower on the straight but it has a bit more grip.

Damn that car is nervous. Its all over the place. Im trying Betty Blue's setup, but I can't tame the beast. Any tips? I tried setting the LSD lower, which helped a little...

Exeter tune for my 111R Race car was great, made the car nice to drive and you can really push it though the corners on full throttle. Thanks.

Happy I could squeak a gold on this after a few laps, a few tweaks and not having to resort to finding a tune from the forums. Now if only I could do the same with the Lambo for the S licence tests.

Same problem here. I've just put in these changes and it looks promising -certainly more controllable!

BB 7 6
LSD 5 40 15
Power limit 91,3%
Downforce 150 350
Ballast 116kg at -20

I'm no tuner and it probably needs suspension adjustment, but i think this'll help me top my miserable 1.23.655:lol:

Down to 1:18.436. Been 1.5 tenths faster than IMMORTAL through sector 1 and 2 but I ****** up through the last one. Whenever I look at IMMORTAL's ghost following me behind, pressure builds up and I end up making stupid mistakes. Anyhow, still pushing.

This is going to sound stupid, but this is my favorite car on the game, the one I use all the time for everything, and I feel like I'm a pretty good racer. However, I know NOTHING of tunes. With a stock car, only upgrading the turbo and taking some power down, I'm at 1:23 and 1500'th-ish. I'm going to try Betty Blue's tune now, hopefully I can make a decent showing. Who is IMMORTAL anyway?

I've got Peeps...I love these little Yellow sugar birds,. Wait a minute...am I in the wrong thread? :odd: :dopey: Perhaps I am :dunce:...pardon me, bloody damn pain killers do it to me every time.:lol::mischievous:

Well, while I'm here, I'm down to 1'20.853....that is if anybody is interested. Now if you'll excuse me, my Mom is calling me, I have to go now...bye bye. :dopey:

I wanted to find out how many people are taking part in this so I did a slowest lap I could bear. Mid 1:58 and I'm at 48,089. When I thought I could not go any slower, I checked my placing on LB and god, there are more than a dozen below me:lol::lol: There was this guy who lapped whopping 3:40, who was more than a minute slower than his closest rival, then this superstar came along and lapped stunning 4:41.279 - now to go that slow without being black flagged that's hard to beat!

There are currently 48,180 competitors ATM.
