Oh forgot to say sorry to everyone at the start for being so slow off the line, somehow didn't register that 3"20 was the start :guilty:

No problem, I was right behind you but still got through just fine :)

Yeah 3"20 flashed up and went then I suddenly thought, oh 🤬- Ever since the start of Quali I'd been a bit dozey- Smashing in those fast laps in practice took it out of me.

Race in pictures (apologies for poor photography):

Starting grid; I notice I was sizably ahead of my gridslot :scared:, but it certainly didn't help me off the line. I accidentally redabbed the brake pedal after taking off and had to slot in behind akmuq.

Akmuq made a mistake coming out of Casino and I was able to drive by to reclaim second; Eclat was opening up a sizable gap.

I spent most of the race driving by myself. A very lonely race after the battles I had in Spa and Nurburg, I only passed the one car (akmuq's mistake) all race.

Side by side racing!

A pack of battle-hardened backmarkers fighting for position.

Pit-stop; To realistically have any chance of winning, someone would have had to have held up Eclat badly before my stop, but Marunda wasn't as keen to help me out as last week. :sly:

Yeah unfortunately I had a big one and smashed a wall leaving me going considerably slower than Eclat and with a bit of Temporary damage so there wasn't much I could do . I did stay on his tail for a few laps though :dunce:.

And do you really have to remind me of that again :ouch:. Hoping for better luck at Tsukuba 👍

Eclat, didn't you pit early and come out in 3rd? Cause you didn't get a Grand Chelem then.:)

Seriously, do you have to lead every lap? Would have pitted later if I knew... >.<

No worries, it was a complete long shot anyway. From what I had done in practice, I could have done high-1'41s to low-1'42s until the end and considering how difficult it is to (cleanly) overtake here, I admit that I held some hope when he came out behind you on the track.

Yup, a hattrick is pole, win and fastest lap. A Grand Chalem is when you lead every lap as well.

Woo, hattrick!!

Can someone tell me the order please so I can change the leader board.

Oversteer Racing should have 38 points... Me and ade are in Oversteer Racing.

If you want to update my details on the first page, it's - sagarismic/SagarisGTB - Blue/Yellow - No# 2 - Oversteer Racing

Sorry, I will change it tomorrow :sly:

Damn I really need to get my act together. :yuck: I'm falling back in the points.
Next race I vow to keep consistent, fast race pace as apposed to wearing myself out in practice. :dunce:

EDIT: Had a few laps today at Tsukuba and was consistently running mid-high 0"58.xxx with my best being a 0"58.460 although I think I could go a tad faster if I push it a bit more.

I seem to have found a bit of pace last weekend, hopefully it is not too little too late.

I think it is in the FIA GT1 championship.

You're only good at the tight, twisty tracks. Your luck runs out as soon as we get to proper courses again. :)

Right. However, I think team orders prevent you from taking the title when neljack is around.

Nope, there are no team orders in this team, apart from the odd "I'm all over you, let me through."

But that never tends to happen anyway, as every weekend so far has been one of us with good pace and the other one with poor pace.

You dare to say that when neljack's able to look at this thread at any time? :D I wouldn't call 4th place poor pace btw...

Well it's not poor, it's better than what I achieved at Nurb (I think)

I meant poor pace as in qualifying pace.

edit: Just set a 58.00 around Tsukuba, lost a bit of time in the last sector though, a 57.9 is possible from me...

neljack, would you agree that there are no team orders in our team, and that we race fairly? :D

Also, just set a 57.957 around Tsukuba.

Damn you.

That's half a second faster than my best. :scared:

Although I could go slightly faster if I really push. :indiff:
