JASE72 & Hyperuk, both in a different league to me gentlemen, i can;t seem to keep that Evora on the tarmac. I would just like to get close enough so you could give me a tap!!

Good afternoon evora race fans:).iI would like to take this time to thank a few people.First off,Synwraith.Well done on a great account of last nights events:tup:When f1 goes to BBC1 next year i think they should replace james allen with you sir.Your commentry is murry walker esque. To the guys who came up with this event, pure genius:bowdown:.To the dutch customs shop:tup:.Apart from Thunder&Lightining race team who i am a driver for,i think nearly every other evora on track was using your tune:crazy:.Your tune and some very skilled drivers helped make this event what it is without a doubt and even though i didnt use your tune i would like to thank you for takeing the time and effort to work on the evora.Lastly my Thunder&Lightining team mates in our puke yellow evora:lol:as always guys when racing yous i have never been so focused and so distracted at the same time:sly:.See you all on track:tup:

Oh dont worry mate, myself and Jase have had plenty off track excersions this morning. :)

Morning all, guess I cried off a little too early last night.

Looking forward to seeing the video Donk. Question, did you all sit on the grid for twenty seconds before starting?

Hey mate, if there were 12 Evoras on the grid and no other vehicles I think everybody assumed we'd just hit it at the green light, and that's pretty much exactly how it turned out.

I think the second time a few people waited briefly, because sometimes you join the grid so late that you don't know who else is on there.

As a general rule I think if you're at the back in the Evora, only lower PP cars will be ahead of you so might as well go at the lights.

Speaking of which, I noticed how many times I actually became the host last night, and that almost never happens. So I started a lot of races on pole, that's why some of you may have seen me reversing back through the grid a couple of times, it can be a very unfair advantage sometimes. Plus I was usually binning it while leading :D

All the best
Maz

Thanks for your kind words Maz and theewar :) indeed last night was one of the best ever. 👍

I'll be joining this event soon, if I get there in time I'll race at xx.04. Hope to meet many GTPers

Had some great door to door, bumper to bumper battles this afternoon with GTP_Manuelos, GTP_Hyperuk, GTP_L2pt and some others.
Thanks guys! :)

Sorry for the eventual bump or 360-smokescreen in 130R! :sly:

Just a proposal -
Usually I cant race until 21.00 cet or so. Most of my GTP friends have the same problem. Things to do before the fun can start. In the last days, most of the T&L team shows up around 21.00. It actually become a kind of routine for me and us. If I connect my PS3 at 21.00 I can expect to have some great racing.

When someone forge a race like the Evora cup - why not put out some gathering times.
We cant all race 24/7 but with just a litle help, like having some gathering times, is likely that we could experience 12 Evoras in the race grid quite often.

X: If I know there is a gathering point at 23.00 GMT at Suz with Evora 674pp, I will try to join in if I can. Of course there shoud be more than one gathering point during a day - but I think you understand what I'm trying to propose...

EDIT: BTW MAZ thanks for your prior post. Your friendly words and the way you include everone makes you a great man in my eyes. You need one more prize after yesterdays experience. Mr understear suddenly became Mr overstear. You'll get my J. Clarkson award man.

I like the idea. 👍 But fear you lot are all late night creature's and I will never see you, I think its fair to say this event is getting more and more people joining, and from 19:00 UK time there are usually at least 5 or 6 Evora's running. Let's see how we get on tonight. ;) I will be joining @ 19:04 UK time. A little over an hour from now. And will race till late tonight. 👍

Your tune and some very skilled drivers helped make this event what it is without a doubt and even though i didnt use your tune i would like to thank you for takeing the time and effort to work on the evora.
Thanks, and I think this event became so successful because of everybody involved and having such a positive attitude. Great and less skilled drivers alike, without them this event couldn't have happened. :)

Joining peak time, XX:49

Wow two diconnections in a row, i'll try again peak time XX:04

Here's a video from one of last nights 12 grid strong Lotus Evora races.

Please double click this video and watch it on You Tube and set your playback to higher quality 👍.

That car really doesn't like having it's wheels on the grass lol. Sorry about the start of that race. What time is acceptable to start drinking heavily?

Great video Craig, enjoyed watching.

Hope to be on track for :19, just watching a bit of tele. Anyone contemplating running stright through until the Grand Prix?💡

We had a drama here, I had to pull over, bloody candle was going mad, one of them ones you burn oil with. Thought we were going to have to call the fire brigade, hard to race when that was flaming on the table next to me. Leigh tipped his orange squash over it and it starting spitting and popping, at that moment I had to pull over. Sorry Fairplay bacause I came of the throttle and that is when we touched, just before I pulled over.
