Yeah of course I'll do quali tomorrow. Anyone that plans on qualifying Friday please say so. đź‘Ť

Is there any way we could qualify today?

@Forced
On my fast laps I do 47.8 and my best has been 47.767 hehe

Well, I really wouldn't see a problem with that. You could either wait for me to be back from work 5:00am EDT. Or find Stig or Mule. Now if that isn't doable than we'll just have someone that's well familiar with the process (Brosif, Reevos, etc.) watch, save the replay and export it so that we can confirm it.

Flyin! Than you for sure have some time left in the final sector then!!! The uphill right and left right before the sector marker are critical. If you nail those then it's big time!!! I'll check my video to verify the sector time on that lap...14.2's are definitely coming...the question is will someone do a 13 without the draft?? :)

Or there's a session on saturday right? If it's the case forget it for tonight, I dont want you guys to change everything for me.

Since I can never really practice with you guys ('cause of late night work schedule) would any one care to post up their sector times so I have something to aim for? My best right now's a 15.2 but like Forced just said, I think I can gain a lot in the middle sector from that uphill right-left combination.

@ Pierre, nah man, this isn't a business so anything to make it easier for you and keep a tight group of racers going is paramount in my opinion. Anyway, you are putting yourself at a slight disadvantage since you're qualifying early. You wouldn't have as much practice time so I think it's ok.

ut yes there's a sat. Session

I don't have a problem with this.I trust both Brosif and Reevos, so as long as theirs a replay saved, it's fine by me if they watch someone.

I can host Saturday no problem still. I could also possibly do a late night Friday session, after 11:30 PM Eastern, or whenever I get home, depending on how tired I an.

I hope the 54 lap race is nothing like 5 lap races. 5 laps was wearing me out at that pace.

I hope the late Friday session can double as a practice session as well :sly:. Could always use more practice. :D

Yeah man, going fast in the Triple's really taxing. Especially the last section. It's all chopping at the wheel to a precise angle, working the throttle and a bit of countersteer all at a blistering pace. Feels pretty awesome.

It's always a great track choice, I like it a lot better than the clockwise version.

Thanks, i need to get into practice tonight, have not driven this track much and never reverse but i have driven Elise, had 45 lap race at Monaco last night.

Hope to see some practice rooms tonight with you guys.

Call me Eero.

Thanks.

The pace is wicked fast and the track layout only offers a short break on the front stretch. It was intense but I found I had adjusted a bit after a few practice races. I want to run some longer practice races before Sunday rolls around for some more experience. Plus, racing this car is great fun and I figure we need to give Egghead some more opportunities to run up front and get addicted so he will join the series. :)

I'm going to do Saturday, because as usual I haven't found any time during the week to turn a lap. I will be doing testing and tuning in my lounge though so if you're bored or need a warm up feel free to pop by (should be open around 7pm EDT).

I'll see you there. Going to try a few more setup changes recomended by Pierre đź‘Ť and then commit to a setup to get in to the groove. Then I'll go do qualifying. Looking forward to what should be a great battle on Sunday. I think that tire conservation will ultimately be the deciding factor in the race based on the blistering pace of about 6 guys at the moment. Pit strategy will be interesting.

Also, if you guys don't know Deltanuef, he's also a ridiculously fast driver so look out for him. :) If he decides to dedicate the time to the race and get the car set up properly, he'll definitely be battling at the front. He's a fellow autocrosser too. :)

My room's been up, I'll only be there for about an hour so if anyone wants to qualify do it now or wait for me to be back much later tonight.

1'18.6 here. I'm fearing I may fail to make the cut again. :( I could use some help with the setup to try to cut an additional second off for starters.
