Great job with all that stuff, Wardez. 👍

2nd post edited with yesterdays results.

Looks like yesterdays race was good 👍 I'm in the process of moving right now which is the reason why I missed the race. We are starting to settle in now so hopefully I'll have my internet and PS3 set up by this weekend for the next race. :)

This looks like a ton of fun 👍
I didn't want to enter this series though as I knew I would miss at least 2 races due to real life :(
I just built up a car though, so you might see me jump in to some of the practice rooms. Going through withdrawal from really good racing during Miata series' hiatus I guess

ah man, it would be really awesome of you to join up Egg, I always secretly hoped you'd jump onboard one of the various RM leagues we've put together. I think you picked a great time to join in. Lol now I'm wondering if having every one here's tempting RT at all :D

It would have been a perfect(or near perfect) race if it wasnt for the lag at the beginning of the race! I dropped 5 positions, not only because my car was responding well but also because there were others flying around and I was trying to avoid hitting them. Besides this, the race was a blast, had nice fights and put in some nice laps. :)

It was really fun to watch the race, Wardez thank you! I want to congratulate everyone for that great race in which everyone was clean all race long, but especially EERS for his win, Aliens for his one stopper and Wardez for his great race. On top of everything, thank you MULE to organize this series!

I understood the hard way that qualifying is not everything, so next week I'll have to find a smooth line to keep fresh tires.

Thanks, Pierre. 👍 From what I saw of you on the replay it looked like you were on the edge the whole time! It was some of the more fun parts to watch, for sure.

Definitely guys. I got a big response from a few different places I posted it to. Views are going up fast. A lot of people were really impressed with the cleanliness of every one. 👍's up to all.

Lol I was and that may be why I made 2-3 mistakes, which is not bad for 35 "qualifying" laps! And it's fun to have a lot of onboard cam from my car hehe, thanks Wardez!

Congrats to EERS for a great win and the others for some great battling. Again, I am very sorry about the epic fail on the race start time. 4:30 PM EDT for the races has now been burned in to my brain for the rest of the season. I'll only be able to make another 3 races or so, but it will be a blast.

A question on tire wear: Is there a relationship in GT5 between camber and tire wear? The real life equivalent should say that adequate camber will create even tire wear across the tire and allow the tires to last longer (and provide more grip in steady state too) - does this hold true in the GT5 Simulator? Did the guys who's tires lasted longer run a lot of camber (~'3)? Did the guys who's tires were in bad shape at the end run little camber (~.5-'1)? Obviously a test would prove one way or the other, just figured if anyone observed/figured this out already that they could share the results and save me/others some time.

Looking forward to A.R. Reverse.

Yeah Force, you're definitely right when it comes to real life about the camber. But in GT5 it doesn't matter at all. I'm running .5 .5 though so my tire wear being the best of the rest might have slightly contributed to it, but probably not much.

The most important thing that will conserve your tires is your driving style. Keeping wheel spin to a minimum, not sawing with the wheel, passing someone and being passed over and over... it all kills it.

Hopefully you can join us for more than 3 races! Remember you can drop one so you're still good.

Have you checked out the videos I posted btw?

btw; missed you Forced. Too bad about the time screw up; that's exactly what I thought happened to you.

Yeah man, missed you guys too. Sorry I didn't make it in time to battle with you guys. I'll definitely be there for A/R reverse. I also think I will qualify a little better next time around with the added seat time and experience in the car. It should be a blast of a course to run with these cars. The overtaking opportunities will be fewer there compared to Suzuka, and the nature of the course I think will lead to more tire wear well. So I really think it's going to be interesting to view these things; a race distance really is a different animal compared to time trial and I love doing stints on long runs so we'll see what happens! These race sims really are a blast.

Gotcha! Thanks for the info. I did check a little bit of the videos; I plan on watching them in more detail over dinner tonight. Looks great! I really love the fact that everyone is driving clean and properly; it really adds to the experience and is great practice. Too much fun!

Well at least we don't have to worry about Tony/Piket smoking everybody anymore...

Anyway, if you guys want to race some Miatas/MX-5's, but don't think you'll be that fast right away (basically, in the same boat as me), then check out the new Hard Dog Challenge Series that I just registered for.

;)

One of the fastest and cleanest drivers i know of. Dominated the EURO GT500 championship with not a single complaint made against him.

Only reason he got banned was because he exposed a cheat on GTP.

I practiced quite a bit tonight and I was happy with what I saw. First of all, I ran consistent laps until lap 21-22. Just to give an idea, my 21st lap was a1'15,9xx.

So then I hotlapped rest of the time to finish my session with 1'14,5xx as my best lap.

Can only agree with that! God banned because someone else cheated. And when he tried to prove his point GTP banned him...

Man, I don't think my tires will last that long. Maybe we can practice a little between now and the race and you can give me some pointers. :D

I got down to a 1'14.7 last night. But that means very little considering my average lap time coupled with the faster tire wear.:scared:

To be honest I don't think my tires will last 21 laps neither because I ran alone in my lobby, with absolutely no stress... Everything like a race!!

And come join my lobbies anytime (that's worth for everybody). Whoever sees me online, you are welcome to join me!

Finally, I changed my wheels, for a new hot look hehe. Please welcome my new set colored in New Imola Orange!

I wasn't going to join this series, as it is summer and I want to get outside more. But... It just looks like you guys are having way too much fun. I might miss a few races for beach vball tournaments, but I would love to jump in when I can.

If you guys don't mind, please add me to the list.

@Brosif

I will be there in a bit, just have to pull out the steering wheel setup.

Great to have you, Reevos. Was wondering where you were.

Just need you to fill out the form first ;)

Yeah for sure man 👍 Welcome to the show.
