Ran a few races last night and it was fun. Couple of things though. Tires were Comfort Softs. Not a problem for me but is it going to switch back and forth between Comforts and Sports Hards each night?

Damage was on heavy. I'm not a big fan of heavy damage. When you only have time to run a few races at night, last thing you want is to get hit by someone or run into a spinning car or someone carelessly re-entering the track and have your race ruined for no reason. Once you're damaged your fun (racing) is basically over. To have 1/4 or 2/5 of your races ruined for no reason puts a real damper on the evening.

Two of my CR-X's that I used last night have now been painted to different colors today. Looking forward to driving them again soon!

Good races yesterday. The first race on Trial Mountain was epic indeed. 👍 I saved the replay and will upload a few pics. My Dino was actually better then i thought.

Johnny, whose room were you in? Because it definitely wasn't mine!

Although I would prefer CS we have always raced SH, and no damage/penalties. Add me on the PS3 next time because the room I hosted for a few hours was set just like we agreed too.

I had fun racing with you guys last night! Special thanks to @BTK for organizing this.

@moeom - good first race on Trial Mountain indeed 👍

Nice pics dicezz! Lol @ making fun of my vtecyo Integra

madgunner- I guess being up at 3am paid off? good racing man, fast and clean 👍

Skylar, after you left, some kid was in the room running his mouth about the tire choices and whatnot. Since the hosting fell to me, I took GTPlanet off of the name, turned the tires down to CS, and full damage on. I was mostly being spiteful.

So don't worry, Johnny, SH is the norm. I was just behaving like a child last night. Sorry for messing with your night like that.

I just made a massive flipping tuning breakthrough. Damper compression and extension values are flipped. I.E. in GT5 (and oddly enough Forza), the Extension setting is first in the menu with the Compression setting beneath it. In GT6 it's turned around. I literally just now stared at it for long enough to realized, "Wait.. uhm... what?!" So maybe I was the only baffoon that missed that minor change, but... wow have I got a lot of re-tuning to try and do.

I knew they had been flipped, but no matter what settings they don't seem to do much. I think it's just how much the car weighs and if it's 50/50 weight bias.

No prob, BTK. And I agree haha. I saw you had pulled over at the end so I thought, "hmmm... I wonder if I can get a good pic out of this." That's probably my favorite one out of all of those.

All makes sense now thanks. Next time just boot the complainers soon as they start chirping..

I was wondering about this, on forza its rebound and bump. We set bump between 0 & 1.2 & rebound around 8-9. I was reading the gt description and though this doesn't feel right to me. I'm gonna swap my settings around on my focus and see what happens :)

Guys this looks much fun. How can I join? And what times do you race?
Schedule and times are in post#2, then just check here for room number
Everyone is welcome as long as they race clean and mindful of other drivers. :)

So Gunner and I were testing on Trail Mountain yesterday. Most of my cars were hitting 1:39-40's with the faster cars(BRZ) hitting 1:37.5's. Just wondering what are you guys getting for lap times here? Also what can we do to prevent some of the real fast cars like the BRZ?

There will always be cars faster than others. A few days ago i practiced with a nissan (forgot which one) and it was just not accelerating fast enough and it was understeering too much. Switched back to my Dino and everything was fine. Now it will need more running to suit my driving style, but the car's abilities were noticeable. I was just not able to put together a clean consistent lap.

While it's true that there will always be faster cars, there is a such thing as being on a whole 'nother plane. 2-3 seconds faster is ridiculous.

That's why I wanted to find out what times you guys are getting? I got a Rx-7 to hit 1:38.016 and a integra to get in the low 1:38's. Also a supra hitting low 39's too. Only the BRZ is in the 1:37's. I have not tried other known fast cars like the NSX or Elise.
