Parking special event...?

When you fail instead of usual fail / disqualified music, the buggy just stop aburptly and sounds of james may 'sorry'.

Anyway, if this cost 100.000.000cr in game i swear i laughed.(wait how's that even possible?)

I've got no problem with this. If there are 1200 cars in the game there will be at least 800 I'll probably never use, and 1100 I'll probably never use more than once. For GT to be perfect for me it would contain around 50 more BMW's, and I wouldn't give a toss if they came at the expense of the Senna content (for example) -- but, I appreciate PD is trying to cater for a wide range of people, and some people like these odd-ball inclusions.

To say "what's the point in modelling this and not the <insert whatever supercar name here>", is pretty stupid... I strongly doubt if it was a toss-up between this and LaFerrari, PD would not have chosen the Fezza. There will be unrelated reasons why cars like that aren't in the game.

I do struggle to see how the car will be used though. Since the only actual lunar rovers are still parked up there on the moon, it wouldn't surprise me if it was strictly a Photomode opportunity. They could have modeled the training vehicles I guess.. which have probably had at least real tyres on them?

Gran Turismo 6......IN SPACE!!!!!!
(Go behind the rock)

Wow... That works in Moon's gravity, I guess. The problem is in Earth. I don't think that car will go faster than the Daimler Benz Carriage Patent Wagon thing. And if my memory serves me well, that car couldn't complete a full lap in many tracks due to the lack of power.

Just a note, the car will accelerate at the same rate on the Moon as it does on Earth on a flat surface. It will be slower uphill on Earth and slower downhill on the Moon.

With a Moon track, this could be an interesting vehicle.

The original blueprints/specs will still be around.

Not to mention full-size replicas.

Yeah... I thought about that after i posted. I mean, it's nasa, we'll just throw billions of dollars at one thing until we succeed. I dont understand why that doesnt transfer to the education system

It's going to be another Schwimmwagen or Kubelwagen, a novelty car that nobody will care about or use after two minutes of driving it, time wasted which could have been spent on a car that was actually requested by the fanbase.

My group had a couple of excellent races using fully modded Kubelwagen's.

Also my 3 year old is very impressed the moon rover will be in the game. It may be the vehicle to get him interested in learning to drive in Gran Turismo. He likes cars but loves space. I have to say I'm also looking forward to trying it.

I do understand those of you who don't like the idea and you're entitled to your opinion but there could be a novel little coffee break game in there. You have to understand that some people do like the idea.

Personally I prefer the moon buggy to be in here than more new NASCARS. They're **** (in my opinion).

i'm still baffled that people are complaining about this.
I understand they could have spent the time modeling another couple cars, but then what? I'd much rather have this and a moon than 2 regular cars. What can pCARS say? What can Forza say? It's what makes a game different than other games. Uniqueness.
In my SERIOUS opinion, I absolutely love this. GT has always had a couple abnormal cars in each game, and I love that.
What can Forza and pCars say, you ask?

"We actually spent our resources on things that will be worthwhile and useful to players."
Affordable steering wheel accessories? ha

I'm done with these crap POV's.
Still trying to figure out what this has to with anything I said.

Whoops. Guess I forgot my perspective needs to be the same as yours to be worth anything.
Really?

Your perspective needs to be less anti-me. I tried, but you're not putting in the effort. And I do mean that I tried for a couple days. But you make it so difficult. :\

If Forza and T10 (MS) cared, they wouldn't be making us spend nearly 1k USD to play FM5 with a wheel. I was hopeful that Logitech would work, but I was wrong (amar212 could explain it). So the only people that won't have to spend 1k USD to play FM5 "properly" are the ones who have a Thrustmaster, I believe.
I already only have to pay $15 USD for pCARS, but they've delayed that game an extra year. Talk about customer support. We pay them, they listen, they delay because they listen... when does the cycle of, "they promised!", end when it comes to a video game's development? It's tough stuff.

Honestly, everyone has their own niche.. There is more than 7 billion of us people, and only a teaspoon amount of us who play GT. 1197+ cars is plenty for us to all find something we love about the game. Had you of not heard about anything before the game was released, there probably would be nothing to argue about. It would be like the early games on PS2, you just sat and waited a year till the next game came out which you knew what you and everyone else wanted would come.

A business is like life. There is always something new that happens the next day. Time doesnt stop, and the world doesnt revolve around you. Negative and positive externalities affect your daily attitude and your success. As for now, we wait onther 30 some days till we fingerprint the disc..

Whoa. Let's go back for a second.

I was strictly referring to content in the game like cars, tracks, etc. And yes, PD has given us a lot of what we want judging by the reactions to yesterday's news. But this...I'm just going to say that being unique for the sake of being unique isn't always best. Personally, I think the whole Vision GT collaboration is already doing a good job of accomplishing that. On the other hand, I think putting in moon vehicles is taking it too far.

Did I come across as arrogant or a prick? Imagine what a lot of us think about other people's "opinions".
Tornado has great POV's most of the time. But what the jfkjfokdnf.

Not to be snotty towards you, but I have an opinion! Opinions aren't against the AUP lol. I really don't care to sound like an a-hole to you. There are only a few people here that I don't care about and Tornado (and you) aren't a part of that group.

And nowhere did I say you didn't have an opinion, I'm suggesting maybe you shouldn't argue if you're done with these "crap POVs", which (along with the response before it) came off like you are just shutting down someone's opinions since they disagree with yours. I know we got some passionate debating going on, but I'm just suggesting you try set things to chill abit.

We need to stop and think about just how awesome this is.

The fact that PD were able to model and develop a space car is pretty cool. I wonder if this inclusion will bring some kind of event. I mean, its a pretty special vehicle, and with it being so slow it wouldn't make sense to include it on a random race track.

Hey man, we landed on the moon, so chill. edit - that was a stupid joke, my bad

I apologize to you though. But the thing that got to me was the part about you thinking that anyone who disagreed with me I would think was trolling. I gave people chances, even Samus, but it's no use. Whether it's my fault because of my personality at times, or it's others' fault for continuing to argue that PD should have done something a lot sooner even though they've done things that are MARVELous in comparison to other CONSOLE racing games.

I have to say that I have nothing against you and I sincerely apologize that you might have taken it that I was being an
a-hole towards you.

Its all cool.

I never meant that portion towards you specifically, I meant most of the people who seem to have a problem when Tornado, Muoniula or Samus disagreeing with something and feel this need to just butcher the hell out of them for it.

Re-read what you replied to. I'm afraid you took that first sentence seriously.

And this. I said VICTORY! lol because of how much Samus and others like him don't give up. Sometimes I don't either, but he goes above and beyond.

I wonder how much this thing will cost in-game, or whether is buyable at all and not event specific.

Somebody ask NASA how much these things retail for. :D

I still don't get how people can complain about this. It's an added extra whats the big deal. If you don't like it don't use it.

I think people get fussed about the fact it was developed in the first place, and would rather that time be spent on other things such as important road cars.
