I cant wait to put some wheels and paint on my Rover.:D

On a serious note to you newer fans, PD likes to occasionally include the life changing historic and sometimes just plan quirky vehicle in the game. We all know how brutal learning history lessons are, so its nice of Kaz to ease automotive history into a video game. Its all about the cars as we love cars here.

I can see more avantages about Rover than drawbacks :
- discover a new point of view of automobile and history
- break from the routine of classic races with having fun during some minutes
- attract more again curious customers
- further strengthen the encyclopedia spirit of GT wich has made the success of the franchise
- opportunity for Podi to pay a special tribute to NASA if Kaz worked with them for the astronomical feature
- road on the moon

You're talking like if a whole department spent months on it. Rover is not even part of 0,5% of all GT6.
-road on the MOON!
That's got to be cool somehow.

i'm still baffled that people are complaining about this.
I understand they could have spent the time modeling another couple cars, but then what? I'd much rather have this and a moon than 2 regular cars. What can pCARS say? What can Forza say? It's what makes a game different than other games. Uniqueness.
In my SERIOUS opinion, I absolutely love this. GT has always had a couple abnormal cars in each game, and I love that.
I think nearly everyone has tried them too, at least once.

no it only weighs 250 kg!

Not interested in that, either. Waste of time.

It isn't my favourite car either, however I thought you were inviting suggestions for a vehicle that could both sell a game on its presence alone as well as one that would be driven more than 10 in-game kilometres by most GT6 players.

Racing on the moon against aliens . . . . Ah! GT . . . you give me everything to drive.

Now . . . where's that John Deere?

I can't wait to drive Cape Ring with only 1/6 gravity.
I don't think you will ever will come back down :D

I'm pretty sure the Lunar Rover fulfils those criteria for some people. Is it the largest possible group of people? No. But it's dangerous, creatively speaking, to try to singularly go after what is effectively the "lowest common denominator" in that manner.

Having lots of cars (content in general) that cater better for the billions of niches will add up to a larger group on its own. If "focus" in the car selection is what you want, this has never been the game for it.

Anyone else remember Racing Destruction Set on the Commodore 64? Probably one of the earliest racing games to feature Lunar Rover........and it had a a track creator. You could even change the gravity settings, moon gravity was heaps of fun!

Andddddd 100 years later, we still don't have a proper track creator... :-)
