This game is very cheap now £10 at argos.
Or if you dont even want to spend that the demo is on the US ps store it just caps your level at 8.
Anyone know of any future updates?

Did Sony announce that the servers are shutting down? With the closure of the developer, I've been wanting what the fate of MAG and Socom 4 would be.

They said in some sort of press release that MAG will continue to be supported.

Haven't played this in a long time but I had good fun with it. I never played it with a sharpshooter though.
I'm also not sure how many people are currently still playing this game. Even in the beginning sometimes you had to wait quite long sometimes before a game started.

Also, don't buy the DLC , last time I played no-one was playing those maps

There is, or at least was, a demo. You should search for it in the store.

I made that mistake. £12 on stuff I have never used.

This was a great game truly deserving of a sequel. Too bad Zipper shut down. Im still hopeful Sony can get a sequel out. There is alot of people who want it.

The next game needs to be treated more like warhawk. $40 launch price, etc
