Sure wld be sweet if the new mx5 came along too

Don't EVER expect a car from 2014 or 2015 to be in GT6.

If you are going to wish for a 'modern' car go around the years 2011, 2012, 2013. PD takes their sweet time modeling cars.

Tried to get a little bit higher quality screen grab to really see the layout.

Zahara by dskywalker01, on Flickr

I am REALLY REALLY hyped now.

Targa Zahara.

EDIT:

I think the 'driving section' mystery is that the Zahara events will be like license tests. Notice only a small section of the course is highlighted in pink in that photo.
consider me stoked

I think the red line starts at the marker and animates all the way around, but it's hard to see in the video.

Much like the AMG Driving Academy on GT5. The curious thing is that in the video where you see the yellow time markers, there is another car on the track which suggests traffic. But, IIRC (and it's been a long time since I did it) wasn't there traffic on the Nordschleife during the final section of the AMG Driving Academy? Would be cool if there was traffic, make it feel like a proper track day. 👍

The full laps on the AMG Driving Academy did indeed have traffic. I liked the concept of that, hope we can see it here too.

I think that was a lost opportunity for a very cool game mode! Just for fun, just like it was on the AMG Driving Academy or something scoring points for every car you passed within a preset time.

Seasonals like that? I would like.

Hey what about the C7 and the Bimmer

I used to do that on GT5 when none of my friends were online, I'd just go do a "track day" at the Nordschleife in the AMG Academy. The only bad part was that you couldn't use any care you wanted, just the one they selected for you. Hopefully this Zahara one will let us choose the car (if that's indeed what the event turns out to be).

Can just about see the red line filling the whole track.

I'm not quite sure I understand the intensified hype regarding Zahara. I seem to recall earlier this year watching a video which vaguely showed the track but no information regarding release date, potential cost etc. Isn't this the same thing, just a few months later?

Except this time it's actually happening.
