So TorqueWrench, racing a 5 or 10 race championship with a points system to see who comes out on top isnt your cup of tea ?
Fair enough mate, its only the biggest foundation of which the motor sports world is built apon.
Online championships would do alot better for GT6 than 1 track.
I did yes.I think he means the blue and red squares...?
I did yes.
The 'bar' that splits the map in two is the writing in the logo for the Sierra Time Rally, as I proved on page 50.I think this mini-map is just for a 'Section' reference - linked to that green sector indicator
there's a small bar split in 2 (or 3) inside the map... maybe this bar (and the map itself) will be filled with a color represented on this signs along the track
example: the blue section has 12 'sectors', the red one has 10, and so on...
when you pass this colored signs (or the yellow watches along the track) on the end of that specific section, a part on that little bar will be filled with a respective color
the first one on the video is blue and the last is red (or pink) - which appears to show a different mini-map
That menu reminds me old GT days... I hope they chose a good music for the backgroundYeah, here's a pic in the meantime:
I'm gonna go with saying I definitely don't think Zahara is made with course maker. That doesn't mean that I'm straight up denying the possibility, it just means that I definitely don't think it is. We found out that the beta for course maker was in Kaz's hands a month or two ago, but we had the first trailer for Zahara way back in February and I for sure don't think that the course maker feature could have been far enough along at that time to produce anything like we saw in that trailer. I just don't think that's a possibility.
Also the surrounding of the track look nothing like what course maker did for is in GT5 so I'm gonna shoot down that arguement. If your talking about the green fields of open flat spaces behind the scenery that's right at tracks edge, that's not a surprise. It's bigger than the Nurburing, they aren't going to waste all that space filling it with trees, because it would be one HUGE file. And the scenery we see right at the track looks like nothing from GT5 so I really don't understand that arguement. What we have of the track really does not resemble any course maker features that we've seen before.

Would we need a maintenance announcement or do they sometimes just throw updates at us?
I really hope we get it tomorrow...
They don't need maintenance to release an update (1.10 was huge but it was released suddenly without maintenance). I think the double maintenance in August was the test for Quick Match & Sierra's online "behaviour". It's all about time and preparation now.Would we need a maintenance announcement or do they sometimes just throw updates at us?
I really hope we get it tomorrow...
I did have that thought, yes, that this new track may only be usable offline, or even only usable in its special event. I didn't want to post that though, because I thought some people would start panicking.Has anyone thought...it might not come to online?
there's an old saying...
Don't count your chickens until they're hatched. There's already been enough egg on faces from the "double maintenance must mean there's going to be an update" fiasco. You should know better than to put your trust (and hopes) in PD.
Just saying.
Has anyone thought...it might not come to online?
Its not a circuit though. Many want Goodwood as a online time trial but they didn't allow that..
What? You're uploading a video of it to Vimeo or something?
