@stuff1138 Same here. :D If you have a partner, you and her should do this while you're there. :)

Nope. You misheard lol.

On topic. Could there be different version's of the track ?
To me it seems that there will be "Sierra Time Rally" and a non racing Version of the track too! In the first Zahara teaser you only see curbs a few time and it looks nothing like the time rally one.

Does anybody have comparison Shots of the teaser and the gameplay of the same locations?

I wouldn't be surprised if the track doesn't come this week.

Don't forget that the same track was meant to be released in February, and well we are in September already... so at this point doesn't really matter for Kaz if he release it a week late... a month late... a year late... since he is all of these months late already.

Maybe he got a cold from doing the ice bucket challenge, and that will be the excuse for delaying the track another month... who knows.

Ok the first person to tell me what does 'Zahara' means gets a cookie.
The word comes from the arabic word "Zahra" that literally means "flower".

Zahara de la Sierra (the town we see in the track) has this name because it has a lot of orange and lemon trees and this trees have a lot of flowers when they flourish

@ron86 I was wondering that too. It could just be that they didn't have the track completed back in January or whenever it was that first video came out.

Ok the answer is: 'Zahara' does not mean flowering like that site suggests. There is no such word in Arabic.
'Zahra' or 'Zahrah' is correct, and it means 'Flower'. Plural 'Zohour'.
So no cookies for anyone

Edit: Correct AJHG1000

@TokoTurismo impressive scenery for sure. It makes me want to take a vacation to spain and drive around the countryside.
Been there, done that... It was some 15 years ago though.
I remember the road surface was far from smooth and it was pretty bumpy too.
They must have renewed it by now (and put barriers and kerbs)

Edit: forgot "years" :embarrassed:

Not so sure, there is plenty of armco and curbing going on in the original video, just as there's plenty of areas where the armco isn't present in the latest video, I think it's probable they used the prettier sections of the track for the original video, and the latest video is mostly bumper cam - which is bound to make it look more like an armco-fest.

Some people will complain about all the barriers, otherwise some people would have complained about invisible walls.

I'm very much the same here. Holiday's start next Friday for two weeks so as long as we get it before then I'll be happy. I'm looking forward to the Sierra Time Rally event as it seems really 'old school' but as I said above, I'm a bit bummed out that there is cardboard grass and imaginary walls that I'd prefer to be either a bit more down the slope or not there at all!
Well, for reference and confirmation of your theory, here's a video I recently shot of me driving around the Nordschliefe in the Yellowbird with no aids or abs and on CM tires. This was an incredibly hair-raising drive and I was on the verge of complete death during the entire lap, yet on the video it looks like I'm on a Sunday drive in a well-behaved car. If you've ever driven the Yellowbird with no aids on CM tires you'll know it's far from well-behaved. :nervous: For whatever reason, the near-death feeling gets lost when watching it on youtube.

Nowhere near what we saw in the Zahara video...

Yes! I know stuff! :D

Unless theres a (bridge, cliff, hill), there should be a 5 meter=16 feet of accessible space on each side of the road. So a car can sit comfortably sideways on the side without blocking the road. That would be good for cruising lobby's or just hanging out.

Edit: or maybe Toko want's to have some romantic time with his gf looking at the scenery during sunset. :D

@stuff1138 Sierra is a really nice place to cruise in, and seeing sceneries like what I posted above just. It feels good. :D

Take a look at this one here. Without the loooooong guard rails, this course would have been perfect!

No guard rails, no kerbs, and no merchandising...(maybe on free run mode...)

I wasn't even bringing up the multi-monitor setup. Secondly, I was just pointing out a logical fallacy in your original statement.

I understand, but my point is not you hating GT6, it's your statement's horrbily generalizing tone.
