Massive Changes Coming to Gran Turismo 7 in Response to Fan Feedback

Regarding Sport Mode completion rewards, I believe that they should be among the greatest in the game. I ceased participating during GTS as I satisfied my desire to compete in the human environment, but for those still racing, it is the toughest activity while requiring extensive preparation.
I would hope that increased reward would encourage participation.

Likewise the rewards for offline races also should should reflect their relative difficulty, race time considered so that a credit per minute ratio might be computed for quantitative comparison. Five laps at Daytona in an overpowered Ford F150 should pay considerably less than 4 laps in a Gr.4 Ford Mustang at, for instance, Dragon Trail.
Is it just me or are the payouts for sport mode races actually better in GT7??

Maybe my memory is trash but I don't remember ever getting 45k for winning a sport mode race in gt sport.

Someone probably knows better than me on this

I really agree otherwise though. Sport mode should've given the best credit and ESPECIALLY xp payouts in gt sport instead of the worst. I mean it's an absolute joke that I put over 1500 hours into GT Sport and I only have half the xp I need to get the platinum trophy

I know the races I can do 200 times to get the xp I need but it's still ridiculous in my opinion.

I'm glad gt7 doesn't have a crazy xp level system but still.

yeah, it's 21 days since release for a game that has an expected lifespan of several years, obviously dead!

From what i have gathered the last few days 1.000.000 is many hours of doing nothing funny :)
I see you're still unable to detect sarcasm and still bend over backwards to fire shots at people you disagreed with a week ago lol

The physics made the biggest leap in the series to date from one entry to the next. Expecting them to suddenly be assetto corsa rivaling isn't a realistic expectation. They're A LOT better than gt sport and I think you should he happy about that. If you want only the best I'm not sure how you've been able to stand the series for so long

There's a bigger improvement from gt sport to gt7 than there was from the last 10 years of forza or f1 game frankly

However, the force feedback legit needs to get better. It's not terrible but it's worse than gt sport and that's unacceptable.
The physics have made a leap but there is an unrealistic amount of oversteer that has been well documented since the game’s release. Literally just fixing that would massive improve things. But again people defend PD so they’ll never fix it.

You can also just a bit, say that you are not pleased with what you are seeing and tell them
Oh yeah ? And how would you do that ? It's clear those massive changes would never have been announced without this big backlash.

Hopefully everybody do not have your point of view and did the things you don't want your hands to get dirty on. And bonus, you will benefit of.

What force feedback and Physics issues are you referring too?
inconsistent force feedback e.g. on nordschleife where half of track provides ff most parts weirdly dont. curbs etc very weirdly done. car jumps and inbalances but still no feedback.

spinning out every corner when traction control is 0 sucks as well. How is Accetto Corsa able to handle it so well when PD with all the resources can't come anywhere near.

Very happy to hear this. PD could've saved themselves a lot of grief had they been more up front about the actual reasons for reduced payouts, but I'm fairly certain a lot of this was last-minute emergency damage control-type stuff. Either way, though, this is extremely welcome and has done a lot to improve PD's image in my eyes.

did you expect the PD gave you free 40 Million compensation credit? awesome for one million yes i will buy awesome cars for 1 million like SF19. its depend you how to use that 1Million cr.
LOL, sorry am not easy to manipulate with this useless gift. The game is broken and needs much more than this. 10 million would look much more real to me. One million means they don't care about brand anymore.

Or if they reduce car prices. F1 for 2 millions looks OK to me.

RESPECT! i went from a 5/10 back to a 9.8/10!. That 0.2 is if offline functionality comes :)
Woah there! I wouldn't be changing **** until I actually SEE SOME CHANGE. Talk is cheap.

It's a good enough statement that I'll be checking in with the game when they actually finished what should have been here at launch, but I'm still letting A-Spec Andy grind credits for me while I play better, more polished releases.

The macros will continue until morale improves!

My rambling thoughts on the responce

I'm also curious if cars will now cost more than 20 million due to the increase of the cap in credits to 100 million. Also wondering what they do for selling your cars. I think it's probably going to be that you can only sell duplicates or cars that you bought. We shall see though! Great vid and i agree with you.

I feel like this isn't enough, or is it just me? If by doubling the later rewards of credits from what they are now isn't that just putting them back to what they were prior the nerf? I figured they have halved them so if they are doubling them then doesn't that mean they are going back to 100%, or, back to 60k instead of 30k? I dunno maybe I read it slightly wrong.

The changes sound good but they need to be doing it NOW. Especially the selling cars thing and new event rewards. I will hold off and wait and see, 1 million free credits is nice I knew they'd do something like that but arguably again it's not enough compared to what people have lost/will lose.

I will remain optimistic, I feel like we need to keep up the backlash against MTX, always online single player and other things that still harm the experience including credits. This update should not be treated as "the" solution and something we can just forgive and forget about. A ton more work needs to be done to win people back.

2 Million for Super Formula is much more. unless its an F1 Car like Mercedes AMG F1 W08 EQ+ it sad does not exist in GT7.
I meant Mclaren. Currently old cars are inaccessible in the game. The problem is I won't probably play for long game without cars. There is no reason for it.

This is one aspect. Considering how legendarily unhelpful Polyphony's patch notes are, and how deep the fox hole they are in is, it would behoove them to give detailed notes on how much credit rewards are being raised. I certainly see a glass half empty approach and that they'll simply be raising credit rewards back to 1.06 levels, but increasing the credit cap exponentially in order to push out the truly high level cars (the 250 GTO especially)

And of course, they still have not said anything about removing micro-transactions, AKA one head of the hydra, so they still believe that the game can be monetized that way, and a result more pressure needs to be applied because Kaz has shown that he'll take a yard when given an inch.

I'm very happy they decide to make something and are actually listening to some complains. Still no words on other ways to get engine for engine swap other than pilling luck on luck.
Yup, still have yet to score an engine on chance... should be able to buy crate engines from any manufacturer. Seen an LT1 Corvette engine in a lil Mazda online. I want that!
