May Update

If they want to reach that 500 car goal, one would think that monthly updates would have to continue to reach it in a timely fashion.

I understand the 500 cars were not promised, however I am just saying if they still want to attain that goal, they likely would likely want to continue those regular updates.

We're currently at 221 cars. 500 - 221 = 279.

If we continue at 12 cars per month

279/12 = 23.25 months. Just short of two years from now.

It depends how long they want to support the game. If we assume 3 years of support, and we're over halfway through the first year. Just my 2 cents.
Hopefully the "4-500 cars by the end" is still their goal.

I hope they keep in mind that a big part of GT players simply want more cars, tracks and features. GT Academy or the FIA championship are for the fastest, most committed drivers which is not my case.

People complaining about track numbers. We have 17 road/oval courses, not counting reverse layouts and variations.
Being this is a "GT" series type game(majority of the racing are with Gr. 3 & Gr. 4). If anyone were to race in a real GT racing series, they don't visit many real tracks. Blancpain see about12 tracks, European GT4 visit about 6 tracks. PWC visit about 11 tracks. Super GT visit 8 tracks.

Now, how boring is that? Plus, those racers only get to race at those tracks time and again, with maybe one new track, after so many years.

The way I'm sure we all see it, many people need to learn race craft first, over venturing a new track. I want new tracks as well, but paying $60 bucks and using a bit of my electricity bill for endless times of racing any GT car on many road courses, is a small price to pay for patience.

Did they promiss the content you were looking for ? To me they promissed an e-sports racing game. Different than GT5 and GT6. So to me I got what I think they promissed. I hated it in the beginning when announced, but I liked it after I bought it. But wanting content is not the same as promissing content.

To you value for money could be content. To others it could mean how many hours they play. If content is what you were looking for maybe you did not check before you bought the game ? This would be only your mistake I would say and not the fault of PD. I knew this game was different so I waited untill january before buying it.

Thats what I said, people are so spoiled nowadays !

Spoilt?? When content nowadays gets cut and sold as dlc this pisses people off especially when people pay full price for it. So a game that is an esport title means we should have low content. Well if GT sport was sold for 25 I would not complain.

Project Cars 2 came with full of content I dont know even where to start. Gt Sport lack of content is what put people off. To be honest i dont care much about career as I used to for me its always setting up my own race. But the lack of proper cars and tracks like Lemans and Spa hurts for many.

No need for apologism. I actually do enjoy and love GT Sport but it has to be criticised whether you like it or not.

This is the perfect opportunity to put Spa and Le Mans in the game. There would have to be a major update next week because the FIA Championships are a pretty big deal. If there is, it has to include new content because the occasion is too large not to.

Spa and Le Mans in one update would crash GTPlanet?

Even if they had the assets already there they would spread the wealth out over two updates.

I don't know if you are being satirical or otherwise but tracks have never been teased.

If I had to guess, their post was more along the lines of, "I don't give two Fiat 500s about these cars, gimme some tracks!!" Which I can't really disagree with.
