Mazda Miatas With Hidden Stripes

If i remember correctly that spoiler is an option for every standard MX-5/Miata/Eunos... but not for premium ones :D

Simply paint the Miata. It's hidden on the actual car since it's painted the same color as the car (i.e if you buy the car in red, the stripe will be the same red, giving the illusion that it's not there).
??

Is that how this works?

And if so why are peeps only posting photos of white or black stripes??

Surely some of these Miatas come in other colours, right?

Also, are they all the versions of each of them?
Like is the MX-5 Miata 97 the same type of stripe as the MX-5 97?

1) Yep that's how it works
2) It's like the stripes on a regular car. Painting it a bright color such as white gives it black stripes, and vice versa
3) Nope sadly it's just black and white stripes
4) Nope the type of stripe is model specific

Well that makes no sense that it's hidden because it's painted the same colour as the car... Like if it was red stripes on a red car, when you paint it white, it should show up the red stripes that were "hidden" as red on red.
:boggled:

For example, the historic mini cooper in gt5- if you painted it certain whites, you could hide the white stripes. The stripes didn't change.

So like if you paint it back again... can you get rid of the stripes?
Like if you painted it white, and it has black stripes, can you then paint it black & disappear the stripes? Or will it repaint the stripes too to white?

I believe that it will always pick the more contrasting colour (either black or white) for the colour you paint it. If you don 't want the stripes you've got to either buy it in a colour you like or buy a Eunos roadster instead.

I have been following this thread with great interest. Indeed, because of you all I have tried painting a few cars such as the BMW1 Series concept, (it keeps its black stripes, unfortunately).
I hope PD roll this, and more, out across most of the cars in GT6, not just little Mazda's.
Keep up the good work. Hopefully you will discover more.

I think this one should count via technicality. Although the stripes are there to begin with, In GT5 any attempts to paint this car resulted in complete loss of stripes

The guys from SupatunaGT.com ran a set of races specifically for these miatas this past Thursday:

Cool, can't wait to put my hands on GT6 :D
The stripes appear when you install all the aero parts, but do they disappear when you take off one of the aero parts?

I don't know about you guys, but I'm thinking we have our first official GT6 Easter Egg(s).

Maybe as time passes, we can find more Easter Eggs, and create a thread about them.... 💡

Does anyone know if the ACR Viper can be painted and keep its color pattern? I want a green and black one!

EDIT: The Dodge Viper SRT10 ACR '08 cannot be painted and maintain the stripe pattern. It's going to be a full color paint job :(

I wish the Skylines, NSX's, etc had these stripes...
...or we could have these applied to any car as decals. Future updates/free custom parts maybe?

That's not them forcing you to put them on the car though. ;)

Well, yes they are, they make them available...and if it's available it must be put on something. If I'm going to put it on anything it may as well be a Miata because the Miata is plentiful and if I don't like it I can just phence it off and build another one pretty cheap.
