I have a strong feeling that Midfield and B-Spec is coming this week, and the Alpine VGT will be added in March

I can be wrong aswell.
I said it in other thread already, the leaks are from official site of Gran Turismo, not from Pit Stop blog or any other web. I'm thinking they are preparing the site for today.

I always hated Midfield playing GT2 as a kid. I couldn't take the corner with the big gravel trap flat out! :D

It's a good track. I'd rather have Rome Night or Grindelwald over it, and I'm glad we saw Apricot Hill return first, but hey, more good circuits is only a good thing (unlike when they added in Silverstone... Ugh).

Is it just me or is Midfield part of the same area as Trial Mountain?

I always thought that since GT3, though I suspect its just a case of sharing similar terrain.

Yes, with the Weather and Time Change!
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAH BABY!!!

- B-Spec
Eh, not that interested, I touched it once in GT5 and watching a car going around a track that you aren't in control of is as boring in-game as it sounds just mentioning it.

- Midfield
Wow, seriously this is incredibly awesome, this has got to be one of my absolute favourite GT tracks, a classic fast paced track that was often the choice for the early career races back in GT2. I love it, its the first GT track I ever raced on back when I was a 4 year old Sloth. Yes he had electricity up in the trees. Gran Turismo is really up there in track count, and this is a great track to add to the collection, great job PD. And thank-you, for this and hinting at Seattle.

Even though this game has had a rather slow content delivery, maybe PD intended for this. I mean, what if they wanted to keep the game going and not let it die out until GT7. Look at GTA Online, Rockstar introduced monthly updates as they intended it to be a long term thing. Maybe GT6 has a healthy stable player-base, people often forget just how popular Gran Turismo is outside of the West. Maybe PD want to give us everything in stages to keep the experience fresh instead of giving us everything early and letting the game die due to lack of content.

Mate you on a giraffe and think it's a horse... i did respect you at one time but now no ...
Well, with this attitude you most likely lost a customer... anyway, another tip, check out the grammar in your game's text, it should be better than the way you write here.

Driving again on this track will be awesome, i am seeing some GT4 videos and getting anxious. Will be great to compare times, i remember doing 1:03~06 with my fully tuned street RX-7 and Supra, and 55's with the Minolta, if i am not mistaken.

This gives me hope for more old tracks to come back, i want El Capitan so bad.

I was not the one who started being rude, check out all the posts. My tip was for genuine helpful purposes and you proabably took it the wrong way.

Maybe GT6 has a healthy stable player-base, people often forget just how popular Gran Turismo is outside of the West.

The West being the EU, US, and associated English speaking countries like Canada and Australia? SCE Europe and SCE America?

Let's test that theory on GT5, shall we?

http://www.vgchartz.com/game/7678/gran-turismo-5/

Total Units
North America: 2.89m 27.3%
+ Europe: 4.77m 45.1%
+ Japan: 0.81m 7.6%
+ Rest of the World: 2.10m 19.9%
= Global 10.57m

So, everywhere except Europe and North America counts for ~28% of the sales. One can probably assume that those percentages roughly carry over into the long term retention rate of players as well.

The West is where Gran Turismo wins or loses. It's by far the majority of the sales and players. I seriously doubt that there's a secret following of non-Western players propping up the user numbers.

Even though this game has had a rather slow content delivery, maybe PD intended for this.

If so, I think it's been a serious mistake.

But I really doubt it was intended. See the prerelease talk of having monthly track DLC, and the VGT program targeting ~30 cars in the first 12 months. The things they said just don't match up with the super slow release schedule we ended up with.

I'm pretty sure that the amount of DLC we ended up getting in the last year or so is way, way below what the target was if you had asked Kaz in November of 2013.

I second that.

El Captain in GT6 graphics, etc would be so good looking! :)

OH MY GOD! Thank you PD. One of my favorite tracks back in gt3 and gt4. I really fell in love with this track on gt4 (that's when I started getting better at gran turismo, gt3 was my first gran turismo game I played I wasn't good at and didn't know what I was doing, I was like around 6 or 7 around the time) but anyway looking forward to driving on this track again:D And also it's nice they added weather change in for a bonus :) Looking forward to this update:D

I'm very happy with Midfield coming back. Seeing all these posts about how awesome Midfield, El Capitan or Amalifi were, always made me envy that I wasn't able to play GT on PS2. Now I get one more classic track to fall in love with :)
