I'm looking forward to doing some laps in the F1 car, how about you @Mr P?

lmao really really really they are next gen features Jesus Christ that's what you expect.. i can run that type of game on my pc from 2006 .. i even implemented them features in my own game. you are talking nonsense
You play the game or you watch the game? I dont expect those completely unnecessary details that are really only useful for wasting system resources.

8GB is more than enough for a game like GT running at 1080p with reasonable graphics detail. GT7 will surely be 1080p, the difference is reasonably small compared to GT6, and really really small if you consider the memory difference in both systems.
I know that if you try hard enough you can always make a system run out of memory... But I think PD developers are not as stupid to implement ridiculously unnecessary stuff like 3D realistic grass or highly detailed 3D moving trees.

But do you really believe that new textures and fancy effects won't eat that memmory by GT7 time? Whats more, evidence from the past two iterations seems to point out that PD isn't all that concerned to not implement ridiculously unnecessary stuff.

So many jokes can be made. No nas. Restrain yourself. :P

I'm under the impression that he is trying to set up the jokes...

We will see. There is a point when graphics quality are so high that you dont really need to push it further. Kaz surely knows what has to be improved the most for the next gen, and graphics quality is not really one of them. I mean yeah, they have to be improved and they will be improved, but other areas need far more work, like the sounds.
And no clue about the jokes.

No buddy iam making my own game and have everthing you said thai aint needed on old hardware i am a licensed psn developer looking to get a ps4 dev kit so please ... dont think i am just arguing with you for the sake of it 8gb isnt that much

great now i am going to get it in the neck

Sadly many people judge a game by the quality of the graphics and many companies pull out all the stops to make the game as graphically appealing as possible and as a result the games often perform less than they should. This will continue on the next gen systems as well.

I hope that the devs will wake up and learn that a good game layout and stable performance is much more important than pretty graphics but ...

Nice little (very little) treat to those who still enjoy this tech demo. Midfield was one of my favourites. Good times.

For me, it's too little, too late.
Wow, a tech demo with over thousend cars, over 70 tracks and more to offer than nearly every other racing game...

There are many things that GT6 is called, but really, tech demo??!

Tears of joy! :D It looks good too! Translating the article, it means that it'll have Weather/Time Change. :D Fantastic!

So many good memories battling those tricky corners. From the tunnel uphill to the end of the lap is a blast. The braking on the downhill before the tunnel decided a lot of Gran Turismo 2 Memory Card battles with my friends.
The Suzuki Escudo looks like it has a interior because it has a extras in the interior as opposed to GT6. It's not the driver as the suit appears to be blue and the car is right hand drive. The area I circled around in yellow seems to be a more lighter color.

If it's not an interior, what is it then?

PD / Kaz should have learned from GT6, in GT7 PD would likely aim for locked 60fps 1080p as the 1st title in PS4 and with a more refined lighting, texture and details would make GT7 quite an "eye candy" similar to Wipeout HD in PS3. GT6 is quite nice for last gen console :

I'll give you a tip. If you want to be a great developer focus first on the good and smooth gameplay and the 60 stable FPS, then second go for graphic detail if you have machine resource margin.

There's multi color Suits you know...

I think it's the Suit with white and blue color.

Well folks, looks like I`m going too be back home. Gran Turismo, where I belong. See! We had no updates since Christmas and this is what they were hiding. :bowdown:Well worth the wait. Something is telling me, their will be a VGT in the update too. If not, the coding for the VGT will be added for the next update. Don't get too excited lol, its just me thinking what else could be included without mention. ;)

I always liked Midfield and Autumn Ring because they had a reallistic fee that you don't get on many other fictional tracks. And it drops by, I'll fire up the dusty PS3 just for pure nostalgia.

i don't need no tip's from someone who don't understand the hardware thank you ... talk about stating the obvious
Get off your high horse please... you dont have a clue about what I do understand and what I dont. Also, not really need to understand anything about hardware, just to be someone who's been playing videogames for about 25 years, and really know the things that make the games great and the things that really dont.

Mate you on a giraffe and think it's a horse... i did respect you at one time but now no ...

Who remembers the Plymouth PT Spyder? I literally have forgotten about this car, for at least a decade.

I remember it, in fact I had a Hot Wheels size toy of it as a kid. It was the wrong shade of silver, though.

Thrilled to see Midfield back, now I have two of the first three tracks I ever played on in GT back(Tahiti Road, High Speed Ring, Midfield in GT2 Arcade Mode).

Could you imagine, just like an RKO, we see Red Rock Valley updated out of nowhere! :gtplanet: would explode! :gtpflag:Back on subject, god I miss Midfield. I remember cutting the corners in GT2 then when I got up to the tunnel I would spin out in my Jag XJ220 and BMW 3 series (forgot which one). Great times, so excited!
Or [Insert general classic GT Track here.]
