No no, thanks go to you my friend... I was starting to struggle finding 15 mins of music to go with the video every week, your help is much appreciated ;)

I did a 1:42.317 fastest lap, averaging in the 1:43's for 10 laps, gonna be a close call on pit strategy but I think after last weeks 1 stop disaster I'll stick with 2 stops. I tried 1 stop but my times are dropping to 1:48 by lap 16!!

The fastest I'd managed was a 1:43:xxx in 493bhp
Its the chicanes which kill the tyres...180mph right down to 50mph....

I'm in the 1:44-45s clean, w/o cutting the chicanes and w/ at least 2 tires on the pavement or rumble strip. The second chicane gets raped most of the time so I am used to cutting it when racing randomly online. I could easily be in the 1:43s if I cut that chicane.

I know corner cutting is covered in the rules and what constitutes cutting will be obvious to most, but just so everyone is clear on what will and will not be penalised in Rd.9 or any other race, here are some images to clarify.

Monza Chicane 1 Entry is not possible to cut due to the position of the concrete wall there so forget that...

So those are the rules that will be enforced at Monza and any other track for that matter, although at Monza I will be paying special attention to everyone going through the chicanes on every lap, which I'm really looking forward to

1st cut = warning
2nd cut = 1pt penalty
3rd cut = 2pt penalty (totalling 3pts deducted)
4th cut = DQ

those are still the limits yes? or we have to keep 2 wheel on the asphalt please let us know Soopa :)

Havent decided if im using the wheel or ds3 tonight , seem to be doing better times with the ds3 but i think my tire management might be better with the wheel , best time has been a 1 44 flat , still havent made it in the 1 43 so a pole position is out of the question

Yes those are still the rules, the rumble strip is part of the track (I believe those were from GTP Rules), although I wouldn't recommend pushing it to the limits as in the photo's. For one thing I found it upsets the car too much and secondly I don't want to risk being disqualified :nervous:

Hey thanks Garage Father...Good Luck to you as you try to go on another win!!! Good luck to all the others trying to stop Garage from winning!

I apologise for my poor sportsmanship today. I really have to get used to the car. I think I'll take this season as a testing season and then go competitive next season? Btw, great run gprili!

thanks :scared: If I don't make a mistake in the beginning.... it's not FUN to regain all positions EVERY TIME :crazy::crazy:

anyway great race Soopa & Garage_Father!! :gtpflag:
my best recovery ... even better than Deep Forest :dopey:

Gprili I know how you feel,I started the last race with my engine off! Then when I went off the clutch and on the gas nothing happened.:P

Good race, shame only 5 ended and I was the last across the line. :(

I had some good pace but a few silly mistakes and lack of concentration cost me competing for a podium.

I'm not great at Nurburgring so will find it tough there.

Soopa, with regards to next season, what are you planning to do with the release of spec 2.0 in a few weeks. There will likely be more tracks and cars and would be good to race at somewhere like Spa etc..

Don't worry Kingy I'll do my best to show up at the ring and TRY give you some pressure.;)
Was a nice one at Indy,I knew you were closing in and that really kept the pressure on,pity I screwed up.:(
