hey skengD, my times are 1.52-1.53 for the first stint of laps (i think i'll make 10 or 11) my best is still 1.52.700 but this time I will take care of my pace during the race, not pushing for a fastest lap, I hope to do a better race this time

Well since Kingy doesn't have his league anymore this is my only league at the moment , I hope you don't decide to call it quits after season 2 .

You're right to fear him gprili, Calsonic + lots of practise = unstoppable :lol:

I will keep the MRC going for as long as I can, we will have a break for a few weeks over Christmas, then I have a nice idea for a pre-season race before going into season 3 team championship

The pre-season race will be 3 10 lap 1 make races, GT-R, NSX then Lexus. exact cars and tracks tbd but it will be a straight sprint race with all of us in exactly the same car, same default tune etc, so there will be no excuse that someone had a better car/setup ;)
 
That Calsonic GTR seems to have the traction advantage over my NSX on second reflection
And how does Grpili keep getting those wonderful animations?:lol:

This sounds AMAZING! Exactly the kinda thing I like to do. Great idea soopa!

Not been practicing cant get off spa in the f10, it's immense.

Can I change the brake Bias?
No ABS at F5 R5 does not work,got to tone it down to F5 R3.
Or I have no choice but to use the ABS.
 
I like the idea of introducing teams

the teams will work by allowing 2 of the same car on track, those that pick the same car will be team mates, car choice will be first come first served.

Maybe we could do this midweek, just for kicks, no points standings or anything, just t give us a laugh, and vote on the track so no one can practice for it.

I have a lot of friends who use the DFGT and all of them are satisfied after modding it a bit.

Most of them use some sort of a pedel mod to makes them feel stiffer.

If you thinking of getting a G25 save the money for a G27 it's a huge improvement over the G25. That all I can say on the wheel aspect.

I use a factory stock dfgt and have done quite well with it. Cannot beat it for the price and it also works on PC.
 
What is the real difference between the dfgt and the g27 ?

They are both logitech right ? Its amazing logitech makes so many different wheels

Gprilli was extremely fast in some practice races last night , consistent fast laps running 1 52's quite often

Haven't got a chance to play with Montal this week , I guess we will have to wait for friday to see his times.

Sorry guys I have been busy this week. You can see me on PSN but I leave my PS3 on to auto grind my B-Spec up for some free credits while I'm at work. I will post when I'm able to practice and stuff. Hopefully tomorrow but we will see :)

Also side note in the wheels

DFGT is one motor attached to a belt with gives it it's ForceFeedBack. This make it have some very smooth ForceFeedBack but the belts make it a tad louder then the G25 with fast movements. I believe the ForceFeedBack may be more powerful because up this I'm not sure but a lot of people say the DFGT is very powerful for it's price.

The G25 is two motors with straight cut gears attached to the wheel which makes it louder then the G27. When turning the wheel you can somewhat feel the gears rotating into each other. Like it's feels like you turn it with very slight notch increments. It's very hard to feel this under normal driving but it's there.

The G27 has two slightly more powerful motors attach to a special gear(forgot the term) where the teeth are in a twisted/rotated fashion. It's difficult to explain check out the wiki for more info on it is all I can say for now. Anyway it's smoother and quieter then the G25.

I only can say so much for the DFGT I never ha one myself. I only used the G25/G27 and I use the G27 currently. Only thing I'm not like about my G27 is when it starts to get warm after maybe an hour or two of play the ForceFeedBack starts to get slightly weaker. That's my only complaint but that happens to all wheels driven by an electric motor.

I've had my g27 for about 2 months now close to 3 and I can't even go back to my controller , its definetely the way to go especially in higher powered cars where you need to manage the throttle .

Gprilli is my favourite to win the race on friday , his pace seems unbeatable but perhaps montal will surprise us again with a 1 stop strategy .

I find it difficult to follow another car on this course , I'm really not comfortable unless I have clean air
 
Question (as I will be racing at the back of the pack on Friday), are RS tyres mandatory or are we allowed to choose whatever we wish.

Yes, I would watch the replay after the race and make notes when/where drivers switched places, I'd then watch all those specific points whilst recording them on my DVD recorder, then get it on my PC and edit it into a final cut. I enjoyed doing it and gutted I can't now. Soon as I save up £180 I will get an HD PVR and start doing them again but in HD :) I'll save the replays and maybe go back and do videos of this season retrospectively. I say maybe cause each video is about 4 hours work..:drool:

I've had my DFGT since GT5P, after a couple of days I was tearing down my old PB's set with a DS3, its painful having to go back to DS3 now knowing I'm a good couple of seconds slower than I would be with the wheel :ouch:
 
The G27 has been good so far,only issue is a broken shifter boot.
The helical gears are great too,much quieter than the ol' 25.
