Midnight Racing Club - GT500 Season 2: Rd.10 Nürburgring 24H 23rd Dec

My connection should be good, I have a 40Mb line!!

Yeah I love that car too, was gonna have it this season until Kingy got in there before me!!

I got rear ended by ROYALE on the last lap turn 4 and again turn 5, which probably re-shaped my car somewhat, those were his fault!!

turn 4 was nothing more than a tap, your tires were clearly worse than mine. in turn 5 you went wide into the wall so i went for the pass, as you were oversteering off the wall i made contact and your car continued out of control slamming me back into the left wall which gave you a nice lead only to be passed by the finish...it was inevitable really, had i passed you in turn 5 you would have never even had that chance on the last straight. either way i was simply strategizing how to get the most out of an inferior car, and it worked to catch and pass you in the same car that destroyed the field (good race Immortal!)

ed is always frustrating, especially when happen at 3 laps to the end like yesterday.

that really sucks, if you can i would bypass your router all together when racing...it only causes problems with seeing other people on the track/getting DC'd from my experience...having a NAT 1 connection eliminates that completely...but again i know it's not possible for some people who aren't close to their modem or use wireless/etc.

I went wide into the wall at turn 5 because you rear ended me coming in to the corner! What you call strategizing I call cheating, wall riding is completely unacceptable, you should try using skill instead to get round the corners faster. It was inevitable that you caught me because of the "strategy" you employed and had nothing to do with skill. 👎

let's not forget that you never overtook me in that race, up until the first pit stop (when we changed positions due to pit strategy) you were simply outdriven by a slower car. when you were rear ended in turn 5 it had absolutely no effect on your line...also pure driving skill gets thrown out the window when the field isn't fair and balanced, if we were all the in the same car maybe we could start talking about driver skill but like you said some cars at are advantage on certain tracks, and some cars are at a disadvantage on EVERY track (Lexus).

"when you were rear ended in turn 5 it had absolutely no effect on your line" simply not true, I hit the wall!!

I have no doubt that you may be a better driver than me, after the first corner incident I lost a lot of time but if you check the replay you'll see I was closing the gap again after that, as you were in an inferior car I probably should've been catching you quicker than I was but I was making a lot of mistakes due to a lack of practise. If you can drive fairly for the rest of the season you're welcome to join us in the pre-season 3 races in which we will all drive the same car with no tuning etc, so all down to driver ability. When you beat me in those races I will gladly tip my hat to you and your superior ability ;)

Race 1 & 2 were both won by a Lexus and you weren't complaining about an inferior car last week when you finished strong (although for all I know you employed the same kind of "strategy" there too!?)

didn't Garagefather win the entire series last season? and we finished 3/4 last week, both in a Lexus, that pretty much says it all, it can be consistently fast with a skilled driver, but a driver with the same skill in a GT-R will take the race (and season in Garagefather's case). Just look at the manufacturer's points from last season, the numbers don't lie.

Garagefather said he wasn't comfortable driving the Lexus and he took it on as a challenge, it's hard to say anything about the cars without having some measure of driver skill, each car has its pros and cons and may suit certain driving styles more than others. It does appear the Lexus has more cons than pros though

Like I said there will be a pre-season race, where we will all have a chance to prove our worth as drivers, all I ask is that you don't resort to cheating for the rest of the season.

Either way i was simply strategizing how to get the most out of an inferior car, and it worked to catch and pass you in the same car that destroyed the field (good race Immortal!)
Well lets give Immortal a Lexus then.I bet all the same he will still destroy us making that point invalid.
Besides Allascato did very well in the Lexus last season,on one track he got punted 3+ times and still finished well.
And don't even get me started on Montals killer pace and good wear with that car.
Finally that's not strategy that's just poor sportsmanship if you keep making obvious gains wall riding...

I'm gonna kill my connection. It's been fuzzy since the race. Frequent disconnections everywhere.
Plus, Tokyo wouldn't net me good results given the way I drove.
I hit a block in my tuning. I had understeer and oversteer at Tokyo. If I don't solve this problem, I think I'll be placing near the rear every race.

Try contacting your local service provider, mine screwed me over once.
Or do what Alla recommended if you can work it out, reckon he's pretty good at this kinda thing.

You are using the same tune as me and Soopa right?
Im using the one you gave me but I changed the alignment and front bar slightly.
I find it's decent and I can push the car hard but cannot do a 1 stop and it's really bad on worn tires(<30%).

Oh and could you PM me your number again,I lost it when I switched to an iphone.

I'll just text you.
I feel horrible. Definitely gonna get a different car in season 3, probably the SC430 or the GT-R.

Ok sure.
Yet to try those but my first experience with a stock GTR wasn't great but we'll see.

I drove the stock Calsonic GT-R in an online room before. It feels really really smooth, to be honest.

us? no offense but i HIGHLY doubt this. he would destroy you for sure, i lapped you the past two races....and wallriding in a long race in which tire wear is a factor is definitely a strategy, whether it's legal to do so is a different story.

I did a one stop that is why I was slower, notice how much time I lost at the end of the race when the tires went?
Oh fyi I was in front of you for alot the race until the NSX developed problems, again related to the one stop strategy.
And if you had not rode the wall you would likely be way back in the pack LOL.
Wall riding is cheating and illigeal, really obvious unless you are psychologically challenged.
I don't have to play dirty to get my results at least.
And what about my previous posts with regards to good results with the Lexus, nothing on that eh?
Yeah,so quit your bitching about how the Lexus is SO bad that it warrants cheating.Just man up and play fair dammit.
Edit: Oh yeah and just to clarify by "us" I meant some of the field given his pace relative to theirs, not just you and me.

let me get this straight, you ran a one stop...passed me while i was in the pits, yet i ran two stops and STILL lapped you? that means not only did i make up the 2nd pit stop time (30 secs) but i also added a full lap on top of it...pretty sad.

And what about my previous posts with regards to good results with the Lexus, nothing on that eh?

like i said before just look at the manufacturer points from season one, i've been racing these cars since the game came out and it's no secret...notice how the GT-Rs and NSXs get taken first in every GT500 league? it's not a coincidence.

And if you had not rode the wall you would likely be way back in the pack LOL.

you probably didn't take notice (being at the back of the pack) but i was running 2nd/3rd up until the time i started losing tires, i can only hold the same line as the GT-R for so long, it's very frustrating when an under-performing car is the only thing holding you back...anyway try finishing anywhere but dead last (in an NSX) and i'll consider taking what you have to say seriously.

You probably didn't notice, but I was also running IN FRONT OF YOU most of the race until I started losing tires from the one stop on the LAST FEW laps. You need to recall your facts.
It's really sad that you cheat and ride the wall to conserve your tires and use them later to pass everyone, despicable even.I don't need to play dirty to get where I am.
Also, look at the results from the Lexus now, instead of changing the topic to last season.
Did you even read what I said about the Lexus results??The evidence is clear.
I don't care what car I take, heck I'd rather my old Supra back than this car,it suits my driving style better and I did well with it last season. The only reason I chose the NSX frankly was looks.
Consider not cheating,rear-ending others and talking **** to other drivers and I might take you seriously eh?
And at least I do not need a DQ to bring my behaviour in order.
Actually you know what continue doing it I'd love to see you expelled from this league with that attitude you have.

Oh and don't bother replying,Im through talking to you as it seems to be like trying to squeeze blood out of a rock.

Lol I wish I raced at Tokyo guys. It is my favorite track and the last place my Lexus will stand a chance at winning. Expect me to be racing this coming Friday and I shall make it one hell of a race!

Honestly me and garagefather have said the Lexus is a slightly uncompetitive we know this and take the car as a challenge for ourselves. In the end this help us be better drivers. So I honestly don't mine coming second, third or even forth. As long as I give it my all and know that I have done everything in my power to win then I'm satisfied.

Well it's good to know you're back. That Lexus you've got is still ruddy quick.
Going to be at Sarthe on Friday,so guess we'd better get ready for the day-night cycle.
There is a public holiday tomorrow here so if you're up for practice today give me a buzz.

Also, look at the results from the Lexus now, instead of changing the topic to last season.

it has nothing to do with this league or past seasons, go into any Super GT room online and count the number of SC430s you find (if any)...there's a reason no one drives them (willingly). also what about my behavior during last week's race? correct me if i'm wrong but you were holding down that last place spot yet again (at least you're consistent).

You probably didn't notice, but I was also running IN FRONT OF YOU most of the race

like i said before there was no skill involved in you being in front of me, it was simply pit strategy, you never once overtook me with driver skill and only lost time on every lap which resulted in me overtaking you not once but twice.

You don't get it so no point trying to argue with you.I do not have to put up with your insults and bs so go ahead and continue if you're so petty.

I'm going to sleep now maybe we could practice later.

Also royal you need to stop thinking Phil has no talent. For one he is driving a very twitchy NSX with NO ABS. Last time I checked everyone(including me) uses ABS. that alone is what is holding him back. If he would stop being stubborn and put the ABS back on I could see him averaging 1-2 seconds faster with his time in every track. I have raced with Phil in other racing series and see him as a great driver. So if I were you I would stop talking down to him as if he was some kid complain how slow his car is.

Honestly i have no experience on sarthe , it and the long nurburg tracks i basically never race .

So im going into this race as a newbie more or less , I will have to practice and look at tire wear .

I have tested that my tires will last me 60-70 miles so with that I could do a one stopper but may but unlikely.
