I just realized that my Bandai Direzza SC430 is an '06 while the other SC430s are '08s. I don't have an '08 Bandai Direzza lexus as the thread indicates I am to run. If someone has an '08 Bandai Direzza SC430 would you please give it to me.

It's a mistake on the first page the Lexus BANDAI DIREZZA SC430 is '06

And for me it's not a problem to have Trial Mountain or not... just wanted SPA to be in the list!! So, Indy Road Course substitution it's not a problem... I'm not so good at indy... ;)

Yes, that's the only Bandai Direzza in the game and I used that one. Befor joining season 1 I tried this car on Suzuka because was one of the last free. I remember that in a few practice laps I managed 1'54s quite easily, just found a setup on gtplanet.

Garage_father if you want I can share my setup with you.

About cars, can seem funny but I'm not so comfortable with the TOMICA GT-R until now and I'm regreting for changing my Lexus for a GT-R. :ouch:

I'm having problem with tyre wear and overall I can't get the same feeling that I immediately found with the Lexus. On Suzuka I'm slower than Lexus and very slow comparing with all of you. :nervous: :scared:

Maybe in the next races will get better... :confused: :odd:
 
Getting used to the car perhaps,Im much happier with my NSX now for the long distance than I was before but my race pace is off you guys to say the least.

My memories of the GTR are not great,I remember alot of understeer.

Also guys I can't play my replays,everytime I click it I just get a ****ing blue tick there.:grumpy: Any advice?

i've been doing 1;55xxx's but not changed anything yet, testing with mid range, high range, & non turbo to see wots faster ( funny i'm faster with non turbo's ). more test required ;)
 
Is this Driver list still full. Midnight on Friday's is ideal for me.

Guy's,what is your consistent race pace?
I just tweaked the brake bias on the NSX and am keen to test.
So do let me know your findings.:)
 
I figured there was no '08 Bandai Direzza Lexus. I am not sure what this means in regards to performance. The '08s have different aero which may make them perform better than the '06. I know my absolute best time is about a second off the 1:53.8 Gprilli said he pulled off with the '08 Toms. I wonder if the '06 is just not as good. Equipped the same, the '08 Toms has a few more PP than the Bandai, probably due to the increase in down force due to the aero changes. HP and torque are about the same.

I have a very good tune for the car but tire wear is awful. Not sure if it is due to the car or track or tune. I have played with the tune and been all over the board and nothing seems to help a lot when it comes to tire wear. I can get a few more laps out of more conservative tunes but not enough to make a 1 stopper work well. My times plummet in the last few laps of a 15 lap stint.

Hopefully this '06 version is competitive since I thought all the SC430s were basically the same when I picked it. Hopefully it isn't another handicap. Maybe the '06 is better.👍 I know all the tunes on GTP are for the '08s and I haven't found anything about performance comparisons.

Allascato: I appreciate the offer for the tune and you are welcome to share it with me. I will send you my two favorite GT-R tunes that might help your car settle down. I feel that all the '08 GT-Rs perform the same so my Calsonic tune should work the same on the Yellow hat.

@Allascato:

I see I sent my favorite tune for a 1 stopper already on 9/12. I liked this tune because tire wear was good and I could still set fast laps and challenge for the pole. It works the bet on faster paced tracks with more medium and high speed corners like Tokyo R246.

I have another tune I will send you that I used at least once when I ran a 2 stopper. It allows for great laps on good tires but the tire wear was increased and the times fell off faster but it was capable of setting faster laps while on fresh tires.
 
Yes, just remembered that you sent me some weeks ago, also the other one will be useful.
Will be interesting to see if my driving style works with your setup.

I want to but my brother is hogging,he says latest 50 minutes though I estimate *prays* 30 minutes.
And I think killing Gprili might be fun if I can keep up.:lol:
You guy's have the turbo kits on your cars?Recently fitted it to the NSX and it's got good linear power now.
 
I use in almost all races max aero and turbo depending on the track
