Good luck with the installation, hopefully see you midweek for some pre-season race, do check the time table for the next event.

Hi, here is some rare English commentary from the 2001 JGTC.

These cars featured in footage:

Nissan PENNZOIL ZEXEL GT-R (JGTC) 2001
Nissan XANAVI HIROTO GT-R (JGTC) 2001

Nice one, the XANAVI HIROTO GT-R do look much better in real life.

MONACO tonight, wish you can race tonight Mark, hope you recover very soon.

After the pre-season on Sunday night, I like to try Spa 16 lap race again tonight if we have time. Base on the comment from Bob, I think it is important to test the tyre bug again with 2001 supra, just to make sure.

Mike:I had my car setup to have some oversteer during the race. After the pit stop it went to big oversteer and the rear tires went off very fast. I changed my settings to be more natural and with very limited testing yesterday the snap oversteer was not evident and front and rear tires went off fairly quickly at about the same rate. I need more time to know exactly how the tires will respond after a pit stop.

Hi - assuming last nights racing counted as a pre - season test, I would like to take part in this competition.

Can you put me down for the Toyota au Cerumo Supra 2001 - thanks

I wont be able to make Brands Hatch this Saturday, but am ok for Tokyo on the 24th Cheers Steve

I am running out of ideas, all tracks been used in the last championship or to be used in the next one.

For round 4, it is open for vote, Autumn Ring or High Speed Ring? Vote close on 5th May.

I'll vote for autumn ring although its very close between the two.

Mike, has tsukuba been used? Would fit in well with JGTC theme.

Tsu not been used, it does not race well with the GT800 cars, we had many problems in the pass.

I vote High Speed Ring 👍

I've just bought me a Toyota TOM'S Supra which I might use for Tokyo pre season (if I can tame the beast)!!! :scared:

If you're after any other cars the GT Academy 1st time trial gives 500k (at 200% login bonus) - managed to get a gold after a few laps with joypad only.

FAO DOC :)

Quick question about Indy Road. Learning the track and finding it surprisingly good! One section I was looking for some clarification on though is turn 12 below.

There's a long run of curb where road circuit meets the oval - are we supposed to stay within this (ie two-wheels) or is it the wall beyond that's the circuit edge?

Cheers Mark.

Mike: My team owners upset with the engineering support they received from Toyota and Castrol have folded the team. Unfortunately the car on the second set of tires has so much over steer that you either plow through the corners because of too much gas or the rear end comes around if you let off the gas. With my skill level the car was almost undrivable. Fortunately I have been able to secure another ride with the Xanavi Hiroto GT-R team so my racing career has not been put on hold. It will be interesting to see what Uncle does with the beast.

Took my new Toyota for spin around Tokyo yesterday and after a little tweaking was pleasantly suprised how it felt. I went for a neutral setup and the car behaved how I expected, quick but trying to put the power down is very risky unless your going in a straight line!

I was setting 1:30 lap times comfortably but to cover 14 laps fuel/tyre saving is a must. So it was all going well, then I went it the pits!!! OMG and WTF! It was like the pit crew sabotaged my car. After 8 laps (fast setting) the car was undriveable around any corner unless I was going 20mph! The rear tyres at 4 had no grip at all.

I'm going to do some more testing tonight I'm not giving up yet but Bob I sympathise with you on the cars handling after the pit stop. This tyre bug is a right pain, the only solution I see to overcome it is to drive the cars backwards :boggled:

Your result looks ok, can you try the same with your GTR, check hoe many laps it can do after pit:tup:

BTW, let us know your lap time driving backwards, may be we can race the last 5 laps backwards:D

Bob, I have done your team transfer and invoice has been sent to your manager.
