Uncle: I feel your pain. I have tried for two weeks to get the car to work with minimal results. Try the Xanavi Hiroto GT-R. It is just as fast on the first set of tires and although it is about 2 seconds a lap slower on the second set of tires the handling is almost the same.

I'm going to perceiver with Bob, for how long though not sure :banghead:

Mike as I could only get 53mph in reverse my lap of Tokyo was 3:36 but could be a little quicker minus the crashes

FAO DOC :)

Quick question about Indy Road. Learning the track and finding it surprisingly good! One section I was looking for some clarification on though is turn 12 below.

There's a long run of curb where road circuit meets the oval - are we supposed to stay within this (ie two-wheels) or is it the wall beyond that's the circuit edge?

Cheers Mark.

Hi Mark,

Sorry for the slow reply. The track limit for this corner is the wall! There's little advantage gained from running wide and policing track limits on this corner would take hours.

Hope that clears it up

ok m1 im in whats the deal with cars, can I use my base model gtr ??

Welcome m1e (can not call you m1, its already been taken), you can not use base model gtr, check post 2 on which cars are available (and post 1 on car spec), I think there are 1 each left:

Nissan XANAVI HIROTO GT-R (JGTC) 2001

Toyota Castrol TOM'S SUPRA (JGTC) 2001

Toyota au CERUMO Supra (JGTC) 2001

Do you know if Johnny is going to join us? We are running out of time and cars.

not sure m8 think he only joined coz on my friends list & race with him often, think iv only got 400k just now but playing now so will rack up the cash in no time for nissan xanthi

Ok. It is the Nissan XANAVI HIROTO GT-R (JGTC) 2001 you pick.

Post by Mark on Monday:

"If you're after any other cars the GT Academy 1st time trial gives 500k (at 200% login bonus) - managed to get a gold after a few laps with joypad only."

Hope that helps.

Championship starts tonight 7:30pm UK time. Remember this is going to be a 11 weeks long, you can not win it on the first round and you can not win a race on the first lap, take it easy and enjoy, good luck everyone!

Guys I watched the replay and regardless the rules Mike is in big trouble :

He had

7.1 If you are responsible for an incident that could be avoided, there will be 10 sec added to your finishing time the first time on one night of racing, and 15 sec for the second time, 20 sec for the third time etc…..

7.2 If you are responsible for an incident, you must stop at a safe place immediately allow the innocent driver to pass freely to re-establish ahead of your position, failing to stop will net you another 15 sec added to your finishing time the first time on one night of racing, and 30 sec for the second time, 45 sec for the third time etc…..
In addition, time loses of the innocent driver as a result of the incident will also be added to your finishing time (max 30 sec).

So he normaly have :

10 sec for first accident on Bob
15 sec for second accident on Bob
and 20 sec for accident on Doc.

Also he didn't park on a safe place for waiting Bob twice accidents so 15 for first and 30 for second

and the same for accident with doc so 45 sec..... and 30 sec for all the time doc and Bob have lost with all accidents....

so 10+15+20+15+30+45+30 = 165 sec oulala !!!!!!

As no official incident report has been passed to me regarding Mike Maldonado, no punishment can be dished out.

Just a quick reminder that only the driver on the receiving end of an incident can make the report (apart from the first 2 laps).

Personally I think that this is a bad rule. Also I wasn't aware of it, and it encourages people to break the rules/be more aggressive if they think nobody will be watching or they are racing a 'more friendly, accidents happen' attitude driver.

In Formula 1 if a driver is responsible for an incident they get punished, regardless if anybody reports it because everybody can see the incident happening on TV. Watching the replay, it's obvious when a big incident occurs because you just see cars instantly drop right down the order.
