The issue, nick, is that normally we're fine. If we stand in one spot, there's very little lag. We're unlucky if we get 4 seconds. However, as soon as we move to load more chunks (in which the server has to render, and send out to us), we lag like hell. Thus, it must be server side.

EDIT2: A test off some random server in Brittan. The download actually hit 0.50MBps in the test, but it only registered as 0.25 when it got to the end:

Looks like the Bukkit update just now might have buggered my logins all together. I either get a 500 error (server encountered a problem and is unable to fulfill the request), took to long to log in, or a read timed out error.

Ok, some updates. There's a glitch with shop. Jai, this includes you... (no you're not in trouble).
Your Diamond chest in your shop. You had the shop sign there, however, it wasn't protected. No one could open it as is, but if they privated the chest (which can be done with any shopped chest, it just can't be opened as Shop overrides Privatechest), they could access it. I was experimenting with it when Dunc shut off the server.
A new player, AtomicCurry99 logged in and realized the glitch (as all of ParkerVeryons shop chests are defunct and not functioning properly, and can be accessed publicly). He privated the chest and pinched the 40 some diamonds in there (thank god for photographic memory). Now don't fret, I got the diamonds back, and had to give him 5 in exchange, of which I gave him my personal diamonds so everything was smooth (I dont' care tbh). I privated the chest in my and your name, since I can't seem to just do it in your name (glitches ftl), but it's all safe now.
However, the actual glitch I believe, is caused because Jai had at one time two chests which were both maked with Shop as Diamonds. So those who have multiple shops/chests for selling the same item (even if it's at differant prices), beware, your chest might become accessable if it is privated by a user. Just as an overall good habit to get into, private ever. single. chest, in addition to shop privating.
Gonna send you a PM about something that I found through it all though, Dunc. It might just help back up what we were talking about with the new plugin you installed.

That might have been Linds... If you're not planning to be mining under ground a whole heap, it'd be alright since most of it is pretty well dry down there. He came up with a few hundred iron and 20 diamond..., so if you're not planning to mine we can just worldedit the house out
