As far as Internet talk goes, ping is all that matters for online. Under 50ms is really what you want to aim for. However when you have people from all over the world that 50ms is simply not going to happen. Testing your internet through speedtest.net and testing a local server is where you will see 50ms.

There have been a couple of PCars vs. Assetto Corsa threads on RD over the past while and PCars usually took a beating. It's nice to see quite a few positive and well thought out replies in there. Yeah my obsession for this game has reached unmeasurable proportions. I don't think I've ever looked forward to game Like this. It seems like yesterday that a stumbled apon this game. That was almost 2 years ago. But these last few months have felt like years. What a ride you know. We just need a few more people and we're good to go. I'm siked. I'm ready to race man.

They said it was 99.9% complete. Another 3 and half months of a delay. That would be crazy. I doubt i'll wait, if this is the date.

I believe SMS said it was 99.9% complete. I believe it was there way of saying it's almost done. As far as the date, I sure hope it's May 8th. I don't think thats official.

That's right. During the last delay SMS said 99.9% complete. Do a simple Google search and just type (project cars 99.9% complete) and you will see. Like I said, it was just a way of saying that were almost there. No big deal. I just want the game. I see there's no project cars again on psn this week. I well maybe next week.

It says mid May release. The last delay, Andy Tudar, the publisher said it was 99.9% complete. This delay, their fixing bugs. He wanted the game too be 100% complete. You should read up on the game a little bit.

No kidding,really,when something is %99.9 complete,it is not finished nor complete.Unless of course your Polyphony Digital. If your going to get into something being complete or finished perhaps read up on the meaning of those two words. A half arsed game is not complete,that's why it was not released.

I love GT class racing, but I'm very reluctant to enter a series or a league, mainly because of two things: the commitment (timing wise) and my useless internet connection which can drop the line 100 times in day and gets bouts of low bandwidth and high ping (I was more of an online gamer a few years back). I think it's really cool that you guys go for it though
Just out of interest, do you find cross continental pings times to be an issue in online racing?
