Modern car designs ugly?

Here's hoping the Infiniti Q50's styling makes it to production in some form--ugly it most certainly is not.

Maybe because it's based on Elise.

I would honestly like that more if the grill wasn't so big. That's one I thing I hope for car manufactures to stop doing; making their grills so huge.

I couldn't agree more, but its surroundings are attractive enough that it seems subdued compared to, say, the newer Lexus' spindle grills.

The Q60's interior may even overshadow its exterior's appearance:

I don't think that nowdays cars are all ugly but oh well some of them are. In my opinion these look good.

The Juke is interesting, granted it's not a Jag E-type, but it's very good looking because it isn't a generic effort.

Define "generic" in this sense, that's extremely vague. If you're comparing one manufacturer's performance saloons and coupes, don't you really expect them to carry some sort of common convention at the very least?

The Jukes front end is one I haven't seen that bad since the 1979 Ranchero.

Generic in looking the same. Anytime I see a BMW or Audi, or even Mercedes made 2013 or later I cannot tell them apart

I preferred it when BMW were making the mid-late E model cars (E36-E92). At least they all looked a little different. The F series is just the same across the whole range with slight differences.

Corporate face, that's inevitable. A sad fact that Audi have fallen victim to Design by Photocopying but that doesn't mean they aren't good looking.

The front is what, makes it look so bad for me. I just can't understand headlights on the bonnet of a crossover and round headlights matched with angular grille. But as it's been said, the Juke is one of those cars you either like or hate.
