I would like #20 if possible. I don't think it's been taken yet. I think I have my work scheduled in such a way so I'll make it.
Edit - I'll add that we've been house sitting/pet sitting for a family on vacation. They have an Xbox 1 with Forza 6, which I've played a bit of. I'm glad I've been able to get a few laps in Pcars this morning. Forza is quite a bit different and vastly more forgiving

I've just witnessed a 'pits are jammed' in a race against the AI. I don't think I've seen this before in a game. It worked like a drive-through penalty, even though I did nothing wrong. Tip of the cap for realism, and some other gestures for making me finish out of the top 10

I saw Beachboy had a blue one (#24 I think) so I jumped into green with a yellow stripe number 25. 👍
Did anyone else's car feel very floaty? I'd tried it solo prior to and after the race and it didn't seem too bad but during the race the under and oversteer characteristics of the car seemed exaggerated. I tried swapping to stable but that was worse! Perhaps it was just my connection on the eveniing.
I had a good scrap with Sick until we both pitted. I got out ahead of him and then didn't see another car for around 15 minutes so decided to throw in another pitstop.

Sounds like I wasn't the only one having trouble with the Merc then.
Maybe I should have given it a go anyway, but my troubles controlling it felt ten times worse than what you are all describing. I would probably have needed 60 minutes to complete the 30 minute race.

Good race all round had Don and Harsk fighting all the way in my mirror , after the start i just watched as lancer and simba disappeared ahead had to keep cool every time i made a mistake as two cars were there to pounce, managed to hold on till the end .
Pit stops ? Have the rules changed ?
I understood it as pit 20/30min and set your own strat as in take tyres or not repair or not ( lol ) fuel or not !

Unfortunately I didn't save either.
However I'm not sure you made a mistake. I think it was because Joe, who was ahead of you, hasn't raced with us for a while so was confused by the start (we used to have a slow staggered start previously) so he slowed down. You didn't because you're used to the normal starts. Hence the contact. Don't worry about it. It'll be fine next race.

I managed to complete a couple of ten minute practise races a few days before the race and was very pleased to be able to qualify seventh with a similar time to my previous best. At the start the car in front of me was very slow off the line, whereas I rocketed off and had to swing hard right to avoid a collision - I thought the car was going to spin, but somehow it straightened up and I was off.
@IfAndOr was behind me and despite knowing that he is a sensible racer, the pressure of his proximity led to some very scrappy, untidy laps. I felt very guilty about holding him up and tried taking some wide or narrow lines to give him a route past, but with the good acceleration of these cars overtaking is difficult on a circuit with short straights and lots of corners.
We have been using manual pit stops since the start of the previous series which require greater caution / alertness to stop in the right place etc. I had the misfortune to miss my stopping point at Laguna Seca (right at the start of pit lane) so had to make a second stop in that race.
IfAndOr pulled away quickly as expected. Late in the race I didn't know he had done an extra pit stop and assumed that he had spun off the track. As we approached the finish line IfAndOr slowed as if the race was over, but I kept going guessing that the leader hadn't yet passed the line. I therefore scored an uncharacteristically good result and for once increased my game rating!
I am expecting the next race to be quite a lot harder and better as I think Sugo has a better layout and a more realistic width for this era of car. Brno always feels to me as if it has about four corners too many, not enough straight and too much width!

Get off with you. You weren't holding me up I was sliding about quite happily.
I was struggling with the car a bit since it was feeling very wayward (which is partially why I started at the back). I did put on a spurt after the stop but it didn't get me anywhere nearer to Joe so I wished I'd stayed with you because I was enjoying the tussle.
Stop blaspheming, it's one of my favourite tracks.
