LOL, that's funny. If we backed up to about a month ago I would have been in the "haven't been on a bike in ages" category too. I just bought a Gary Fisher Wahoo off Craigslist to get back into it.

Funny thing though, the dog and the bike have sort of replaced the trumpet. The dog tries to sing along when I play so I kind of stopped playing. The bike gives me the IRL excitement of racing without the cost of going to the track. I love barreling down local single track. I'm actually trying to get my wife into the sport but she doesn't have the balance and precision that I do. I just wish I got back into it sooner. With winter coming I don't have much time left to ride. Lately I've been going out 3-4 times a week. I can't get enough of it.

Mondays are fine with me.

On an unrelated note. Huyler, I was looking at your youtube and it's weird how much we have in common. I marched trumpet in high school, have an old greyhound, have a nice mountain bike (fisher cake), have a computer job, and enjoy racing in GT5.

But my dog is brindle, not black. I work in training/support. Haven't been on my bike in ages. I have zero cats. And you're actually quick in GT5. So I guess it's not too creepy. :)

Brass? That explains a lot. Saxes rule!

Though, I wasn't actually any good at the Sax. I was good at the marching, and that was much fun. I'd march a paper cone.

My manager just asked me if we have any interest in going to CA World next year.

I was good at the bus rides. ;)

Which is where I met my wife. heh.

PS. How can you say no to a free trip to Vegas??

I married the drum major.

We used to go to IBM's conference. I went to Pulse the last year it was on Orlando. Then they sent it to Vegas and they don't let us go. Now the directors go. If CA World is in Vegas then I imagine they won't let me go either.

Which is fine, no one else on the planet is integrating IBM Tivoli Monitoring with CA Spectrum, which is what we've done. Not sure what I'd learn from CA World. I could try to share what we are doing, but... I don't think anyone else is as stupid as we are.

I guess to keep this somewhat on topic... I liked my Sylvia last night. I want to drive it again.

If you crash and lose a lot, you're a 'lower skilled driver.'

Weirdly I havent seen Cujo in the thread!

Just read up to last post...my wife was first chair Flutist in middle school. From her mouth... "It went downhill from there." Sheplayed throughout high school, was 3rd chair then I recall just a year in college. If I had to assign a number...I'd go with 12. :D

Erm, I believe the proper term is flautist ?

My wife was the band leader in HS, and I went from sax in middle-school (gr.8) to a rock band in HS..but that's where my music ends. I might try and take the guitar back up now, but the sax is way in my past.

As for MTB riding...I've got a sweet all-mountain duallie in my garage that I rarely ride..I wish I had taken more time to do it this year, because I got all fat and stuff. :ouch:

While we're talking about musical abilities, i was first chair trumpet throughout grade school. My wife was first chair clarinet at her school. We met in college.

Oh, and i used to work for CA. my group was in charge of cross platform development of their Antivirus solution. I wrote a lot of code for Mac, Linux, and Solaris. Now i do primarily front end UI work in Adobe Flex. Working on an iPad app these past few weeks.

Sorry to put this back on topic ;)

A few cars missing from the list that might fit

Calsonic Skylines the 93 and 00.
The JGTC cars such as;
ARTA Garaiya, WEDSSPORT Celica, Superautobacs Apex MR-S,C-West Silvia

Low end, Lexus IS 200 GT-1 Race Car looks quite Touring car to me, 291 hp, 1010kg, 495pp.

Just throwing those out there in case they were overlooked.

Crap Touring car. If you can make it fast, go for it. It was two seconds off the pace when I drove it.

I asked her how to spell it as well.

I am hoping to be on tonight. I really should be working on testing out something else, but if you guys want to test the touring cars, I'm up for it.

I guess we should get a little more serious about it. I'll break out some spreadsheets if you want to try and keep track of things so we can see just how close the cars are to each other.

Sounds good. 930ish?

If my better half is otherwise occupied, I'll try and pop on to help out too.. Don't think I can join the tour tho (except maybe as a sub if you're doing it)

Ok, so you were right on this. I didn't realize that it wouldn't have the fully customizable suspension on it. Once I got that on there and did a quick tune, it was right up there with the Integra touring car and the BMW 320i Touring car.

Hey dab I'll do some testing too, but out of series as I kinda want to do a similar series. I'll post the results up, though.

Sorry I couldn't help out last night, it's my main points night in the Cappy Cup. I'll be around sunday evening and monday if you need help or just want to run some laps.

Great news on the Lexus, I might run that, great looking car.

Count me in...(lower class) Evo IX RM if accepted..

I'll add the Evo IX to my testing. I also found the old league that ran Civics, Golfs, and Integras together. The setups described put those cars on par with each other (roughly). I don't know, yet, if they would be on par with what we are looking at it. I'll play around with it and see.

Yesterday I created all the premium RMs, when I get a chance I can share the stats if interested.
