This post deserves more. There will be no way of keeping this up manually, some SQL based automatic voting system is clearly needed. I call to the moderators, and to anybody who might have the skills to develop a simple program to manage the incomer HUGE amount of data.
It should include four fields of choice: Manufacturer, Model, Version, Year.

I wanted to point out a few things:

The current model Porsche 911's (GT3 RS, GT2, Turbo, etc) are all designated as the 997, not 987*. The VW Corrado VR6 and the G60 are seperate models, the G60 is the earlier model with the supercharged 1.8L. The SLC/VR6 is the later model with, you guessed it, the 2.8L VR6.

And, we're apparently missing the original Austin Mini Cooper. Dunno if anyone's voted it up yet, but somebody should.

*whoops, that's already been fixed.

These are my votes.

The Type 987 chassis code refers to the current generation Boxster and Cayman. The Type 955 chassis code refers to the first generation Porsche Cayenne. I am unsure of the other non-911 chassis codes.

1) 1969 OpelGT surprise surprise
2) 1968 Camaro non-Z28
3) 1973 MG Midget
4) Any Corvair Monza Turbo
5) 1957 Chevy Bel Air
6) OH Wait my limits 5

I wonder if PD will take a look at this thread or care what we the GT community says on this forum. I really do wonder..

Would be amazing if all the cars on the first 5-10 car DLC pack were on this list, like all on or near the top. I'd be stunned.

I think they do care, at least a bit, and after all, they ought to, we're consumers, and dedicated ones, which in their eyes, is a huge source of profit.
Take the GT5P drafting matter as an example...they sorta listened to the fans and made the requested alterations for GT5

What about it, I've played GT:P very slightly. No idea what you mean TBH...

And for the record, I still find it shocking how most people want the CCX in GT5 and not the fastest Koenigsegg, the CCX-R, known as the Veyron Killer. Car is infamous.

I've heard from multiple sources, on multiple occasions that PD actually hires people to browse message boards just to see what people are saying.
