Motor City Tunes GT6

Hey motor city been running you set ups from day 1. Thanks for all the great tunes. I also race and ride freestyle bmx. Only auto racing back ground I have is W.K.A kart racing on dirt. Good luck with you garage.

Looking forward to the Boss tunes, it's my favorite car so far.

It has a couple of bad habits in GT6, but fun right out of the box. I can tell that PD hasn't driven one in real life. It is an amazing car. Ford racing spent tons of time getting the handling right. A Mustang GT 500 is a fun, drag race, straight line car. The Boss was built for the road course. I will probably track it sometime next summer at Mid Ohio Sports Car Course. I have too many brains to try finding the car's limits on the street. You can take 35 mph clover leafs at 70 without a hint of tire squeal. I did not expect the car to be that planted.

Look forward to tuning it over the next week or so.

Just bought this car to use in the Int.B RWD races. Super grippy already, will check back for a proper tune. ;)

Going to finish the National B licence tonight then set my sights on tuning the 1989 MX-5 Miata and the 2013 Boss 302.

If you want good practice on smoothing out your inputs, go do the kart races. Really shows how GT6 rewards smooth hands.

You know, I haven't thought about asking for help. It would be useful for people to test drive tunes or even try out two different tunes with one slight difference between them and to provide feedback. That feedback can really help to guide additional testing.

Praiano and I will be working together a bit too. I could see a situation where a tuning input works for him and not for me or the opposite and we needed more test driving input to lead to better answers.
I am new to this forum MCH - but I will be happy to help out in any way I can by comparing times between tunes for you and Praiano etc. I am mightily impressed with your skill and generosity!

Glad to see these tunes, Also glad to see you used the G27. I know what i am doing tomorrow. Thanks for all you do for The GT community, Your hard work does not go unnoticed .

Thank you so much for the kind words. Let me know your honest feedback. I think these tunes are good, but there may be more time to squeak out of them as I get more testing in on the GT6 physics.

Just tried your S2000 tune on the premium car (2006) with a few bolt-ons and sport hard tires, seemed to work ok. 👍

Edit: ran a 1:17.582 at Streets of Willow on sport mediums. Tune works fantasic. :)

Is there some sort of guideline for altering a tune from ...lets say RH to.....SS or SM....? In general 3 levels downgrade

I am working on an overall tuning guide for GT6, but it will be into January before I will have anything ready to publish. In GT5, I tuned on harder tires that I would race on. I found that a well balanced tune works well across all compounds of tire. I non-balanced tune may not show its true flaws until you change to harder rubber. In my early GT6 testing I am notice a very similar trend. I want more data points to think about with say more high HP race cars, Enzos, etc., but for now, I am not making changes to tunes between tire compound.
