@DCschwinn when you get in to the SNAIL [GT1 Championship] Series club. There is a icon that says Club Events. You will click on that and there will be something called the Placement TT. You will then have to create a room to label what the room is for. But the settings will already be on there and cannot be changed. You will then run a TT by yourself for 15min if you want the time to count. When you finish you can back out and it will automatically share your time.

Not having issues with finding or doing the TT. I did it yesterday! Good to go there! 👍 Nevermind on the question about doing the TT and how it factors your class and who makes that decision? Its irrelevant at this point. I know what class I'm in so I'm all set! Thanks

It is a general reference to what times you can do there and if you need to move up or down in class.

As many times as you want.

Okay, just so every one knows what's going on with the driver's TT. It was my idea to create the TT. I was going for two objectives.

1. Mainly to give us a reference point to place new drivers who are currently not apart of SNAIL. Unfortunately, it's only going to be accurate once more of a diversity of known driver skills such as the people who are placed in a division in SNAIL. Also in this note is to further test the accuracy of our BoP and regulations.

2. To keep the us from having to open a room just to access skill levels.


You can enter it as many times as you like but, remember the faster you go the more likely you'll be switched to a slower class.

As of this point, how many drivers have confirmed their entry for Season 3? I'm thinking of making on Google Docs a Entry list that includes on it's rows Car #, Class, GTP Username, PSN Username and Car.

I don't think that anyone has claimed that number. The only way that you couldn't is if a season 2 driver with that number has already claimed it. Don't quote me yet but, I think you're in the clear. Any one else care to weigh in here?

Apologies if I have forgotten, but have you had a look at the BMW Z4 before?

We indeed tried but if I remember correctly it wouldn't meet GTD HP and Weight restrictions.

Yes I have and as a matter of fact the Z8 as well. As a matter of fact, if you look at the list of cars that are of the same build, there are enough to create a whole other class. I have a blue one and it's not quite as fast as the other cars. Thank you for that idea. I'll PM you with my whole list to give you an idea.

No 3rd wheel for you here. You do more for GT-1 than I do and I spend 30+ hours a week so far so . I was just asking to see a fresh perspective. I should put up the real list here for conversation but, I think I'll not to avert confusion. It's around 70+cars. 11 of the 12 cars are a really good fit right now. Again, this is just for ideas for seasons to come. The format that we use can be applied to whole huge line up of different classes. This is still a work in progress.
